The Unforgiven: Can't forgive them The Unforgiven II: Can't forgive you The Unforgiven III: Can't forgive myself I'd love to see you react to The Outlaw Torn (Live In Mannheim, Germany) by Metallica. The songs about searching for something lost but never finding it again. It could be about their former bass player, Cliff Burton who died in a bus accident in 86. Powerful song. I think you'd like it.

That. I would suggest reacting to the S&M version of Outlaw Torn. My favorite version and top 5 song ever.
@williamblackmon91364 жыл бұрын
@@mattg.8950 I love S&M! I really enjoy the Mannheim show because Rob's bass is really loud and you can see James get super into it. Kirk throwing his slide is cool too.

First off, you have quickly become my favorite reactions/conversation channel. Your authenticity and soul are displayed in your reactions. Much respect! Secondly, I’m going to make a bold and controversial statement: Metallica is the best band of all time. Metallica as a band is 39 years old, Yet they are still cranking out new, fresh, and relevant music. They still tour more and harder than anyone else in the world. And they don’t look ridiculous doing it at their current age which is a miracle in itself. Chew on this: Metallica formed when they were all roughly 19 years old. By the time they were 24 years old they had written, recorded, and released their first three albums. Three of the four founding members are still in the band. It would be four out of four if it weren’t for a tragic bud accident. They have evolved purposefully. They are all amazing artists who have chosen music as their medium. I’ll leave you with this, what are the odds that four of the most artistically talented musicians that I’ve ever lived found each other and made generational transcendent music for almost 40 years? The recorded history of humans dates roughly 6000 years. It’s taken 6000 years to produce a band like this. It will probably take 6000 more years till we see someone close to their equal. My mind is constantly blown by them. Sorry for the dissertation length comment ha ha.

Metallica are the biggest and most influental dog in the street called music....I have seen them live 17 times and every liveshow is an epiphany....you have so many bangers from them ahead of you....they are still doing live shows (and yes; they still rock like no one else on this planet) and next year they have been around for 40 years setting new standards...may I propose the following bangers from an endless list of bangers; Disposable Heroes ( do the live version from Mexico 2009) Damage Inc. Moth into Flame Halo on Fire Spit out The Bone The Day that never comes Creeping Death (live Moscow 1991 with a crowd that will blow you away) The four Horsemen For whom the Bell tolls Sad But True Orion, To live is to Die (both two are instrumentals) I stop here....could easily add 30 more...

It's funny I've liked Metallica for 42 years and it wasn't until I got older and a bit wiser that I realized the deeper meaning behind the lyrics or the way they combine music and lyrics to make the story complete there's not many bands that do that anymore.

Totally agree with what you said, for me UNFII is the best even tho the first one is close. Also agreed with the consistency of all the metallica solo's, Kirk just knows how to write masterpieces. And for me the best part of this one is also the build up with the "forgive me not" part. Since you like these I am sure you'd also like The outlaw torn and Bleeding me

You should explore the s and m album. Metallica and symphony. Ya, symphony orchestra.

Heavy Metal, you’ll find as you go on, is an emotion based type of music. This music will bring out feelings with BOTH lyrics AND the music itself. Often, metal bands will use the sound - feel to speak for them rather than actually talking/singing. There’s one other type/style of music that does the EXACT same thing ... Classical (and sometimes Opera). Listen to the S&M album and you’ll understand. 🤟
