Prover and Tell me are my favorites from Milet, both featured as endings in Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia. (One is the normal ending and the other is a special one for... reasons 🥲). But tbh anything by her is great. I'm just fond of those for the characters I associate with the songs. ♡

I met Milet thanks to Toru, who collaborated with her, and instantly I fell in love 💖, I swear that same night I listened to her, I downloaded 17 of her songs 🤭, I couldn't stop listening to her! It has a very beautiful and unique tone, besides that his music is so powerful, it transmits a lot, I always felt moved, melancholic. And her ascent also caught my attention and I understand she spent her adolescence in Canada, which may be the reason....... But what I personally love the most are "Drown," "Walkin' In My Lane," and "Grab the air"(both the original and remix!). As many others have said, definitely "Drown" by Milet. I also really like her songs "Reiwa" with MAN WITH A MISSION and "Final Call". Milet has been one of my favorites since she debuted, love her. As for other really good female artists; Maiko Fujita, AKIRA, Akino from Bless4, Ayaka Hirahara, Mika Nakashima, miwa, Akiko Shikata, Angela, Olivia, and many more. Milet singing is real enigma to me I've heard like 5 different songs with her, and literally all of them are different - some are mellow, in some she going serious, in some she's a badass (like that trio Omokage song), and then she also sounds like an ordinary pop singer when she does openings/endings official songs aside, her "first takes" are truly pieces of art

I don't quite remember how I first got into Milet, but I remember being mesmerized the moment I heard her voice. It might have been the real-time television ads from while I was watching some pirate stream of a weekly idol variety show lol. You know what, it probably was around that time because I also remember ads for Aimer's Sun Dance and Penny Rain albums. GOT, if you read this, I recommend a song called "Rickenbacker" by a Japanese band called Regal Lily.

What a beautifull voice Milet has😌 Her voice is so nice. About how Japanese artists switch between Japanese and English I agree with you, Luke. I respect them bc it is a very dificult thing to do. I' m a Spanish speaker but I studied English for a long time (and still trying to improve it) so I understand English very well. Regardless that, I had a hard time trying to understand expressions like "it is not my cup of tea" or " it takes a village" 🧐🤔😅 bc we don't use that kind of expresions🤷‍♀️ It adds an extra dificulty level About Milet,you should listen to the new Kimetsu no Yaiba op which is by the band Man with a mission in collaboration with Milet called " Kizuna no kiseki".Great song. Actually, it's the strangest thing, there's that one song she did with Aimer and Lilas Ikuta (YOASOBI) but if I have to be frank I didn't remember it until after I found her again. The actual "first time" I heard Milet was in Fate Grand Order cause' I was binging all of Fate Grand Order, in this case Absolute Demonic Front. She had two songs in that series, "Prover" and "Tell Me", which utterly floored me. Since I heard those two, I decided I'd dive deep into her Discography and I'm absolutely gobsmacked. What bothers me the most is how little attention she's gotten regardless of how MASSIVE some of her appearances are. She was in the Olympics 2020 Closing Ceremony, which is.. Batshit insane. She's done a song with TK (yes, TK from Ling Tosite Sigure), she's worked with the guitarist from One OK Rock, and just recently Man with a Mission for the latest opening of Demon Slayer. That's not even talking about how high her albums chart and she's already won 3 awards despite only being around since 2018. What's even more fascinating? She did a song entirely in english, "Dome". What makes it fascinating is that as many have/will state, she's half Canadian, half Japanese, fluent in English, Japanese, and French. She's based out of Japan and she released a song entirely in English which isn't just rare, it's unheard of most of the time. It's also a VERY western style song, actually, much of her music is very western pop/r&b influenced, there's a LOT of western influences in her music. I shit you not, I could sing her praises "higher and higher" but I'd be here all day long.

Milet is a pretty versatile singer and can sound like a completely different person even within the same song. Some of songs that show some of her variety are Final Call, Dome, Until I Die, Ashes, Into the Mirror, Future Tone Bender, Tell Me. There some pop, slow songs, rock, full english songs here. By the way, her name is pronounced like Me-lay.

Another all female Japanese band you should react to is Gacharic Spin "Mindset", which will blow your mind. The way they use 3 vocalists, the front woman, their keyboardist, and second guitarist is like no other band. The second guitarist can play like 14 instruments and will incorporate that into their songs, like having dueling drummers with different kits. Or having multiple instruments and singers do call and responses as well as harmonies. If you've seen the band Doll$box that's actually Gacharic Spin with Yuki. They really have the most energetic live shows than any other band.

It´s actually quite surprising to me how you haven´t disovered them after all this time, since they are actually pretty big in japan as far as I know and they recently even did an anime opening.
