Thanks, Kevin - what a treat! Lucy "won" that round and was chosen for one of the teams, but the competition was by teams, not individuals, and her team came in second I believe. She had some videos in the next year or two that are quite extraordinary, including "Run" from Snow Patrol and "She Used to be Mine," from the musical "The Waitress." Then at 16 the megahit, "Hallelujah."

Great reaction Kevin! Lucy's audition was sensational even if it was too short! This experience gave me chills and my eyes welled up. I personally was disappointed in her next VOICE song choice "WOLVES". I did NOT feel that song showcased Lucy's tremendous singing talent at all. Disappointingly, Lucy did not make it past the semi-finals. But fortunately, record producer Chris Broom recognized her young talent and signed her to a recording contract. The rest is history. Please do not hesitate to play and react to some more of Lucy's earlier performances. Even at a younger age, Lucy’s voice was already mature well beyond her years and was absolutely stunning.
