Michael Bivins discovered Boyz To Men when they were Students at their Performing Arts High School in Philadelphia, PA. These guys were the "First" Boy Band (Pardon The Pun) for the Video Age. These guys kicked the door for every Boyband that came after them, Black/White US/UK. After them Maurice Starr (Their Former Manager who scammed them), created New Kids On The Block (A White Version Of Them), then in The UK Take That was created to be the UK Version of New Kids. To this day no Boyband can say they don't owe their success to these guys. Next year will be their 40th Anniversary but sadly enough they didn't get "Paid". They were created in the 1980's in Roxbury, MA., which was a Lower Middle Class Blue Collar Neighborhood with a large Black Population. This is where they were more "Mature". Bobby Brown had gotten fired and was doing his Solo Career and Johnny Gill replaced them. They also hold the distinction of having hits with each other but "without" each other. Only One Direction (UK) was able to do that.

OMG. I an dying right now. This is my favorite grouo of akl time. I have been a fan since about 1982. You have to go back to their first hit. "Candy Girl" and watch them evolve from there. Every little black girl( other girls too) my age fell in love. They were supposed to be the second coming of the Jackson 5. Anyways....I saw them perform fornthe fourth time about 5 years ago and they are still great and they gave 110% at that performance. I could go on and on❤❤❤

From New Edition we have several acts that are out standing performers. 1st was Bobby Brown. When he left Johnny Gill joined the group. Then they made several solo acts. So actually they go a little something like this: Bobby Brown BBD Ralph Tresvant Johnny Gill Then members of the group introduced other acts: Boyz II Men ABC. In NSYNC and Backstreet Boys formed when New Edition members were working on solo projects. Two groups u should try as well. The song u just did was their "We're still here" song.
