Jc sings first then Justin; this album was called no strings attached and this was their second album. The title is in reference to their management specifically Lou Pearlman who was ripping them off so they got independence from him. Backstreet Boys had similar issues with Lou as well. There's a documentary on KZbin that Lance Bass (one of the NSYNC members) produced and its pretty disturbing.

The boy bands were designed to capitalize on the huge financial draw of the teen girl market in the music industry. To give credit, each of the guys are chosen for their abilities to sing & dance, aside from their looks, so the talent is there. It is overlooked or dismissed by many in spite of the fact these guys worked their butts off when performing. I was too old to be terribly interested when they were all popular (I was not their demographic), but I still enjoyed their stuff when I happened to hear / see it & have mad respect for their accomplishments.

Jackson 5 paved the way for New Edition, which paved the way for New Kids On The Block, which paved the way for Backstreet Boys, which paved the way for NSYNC. They were really the last hugely successful boyband following that model. The other boy bands who came up after were products of either Disney (Jonas Brothers) or reality TV shows (One Direction).

I see others have already told you who the boys are - JC sings first and Justin second (yeah I'd call them the main singers as they usually had the solos, especially for the songs that came out as singles). I always thought JC should've had much more successful career but his solo career was handled so poorly and it didn't work out like Justin's did. JC's music was "too weird" for the time, while Justin's was much more relateable. Too bad as JC's voice is outstanding. And by the way, JC and Justin knew each other from the Mickey Mouse Club.

People seem to forget that a lot of solo artists started from groups back in the day. I watched reactors who weren't aware that Beyonce started with Destiny's Child. I have to constantly keep in mind that ppl younger than myself didn't grow up with this era of music.

Yes, this song/video had the right rhythmic beat to it, the dance moves and the message is clear too. So glad you liked it too. JC sang first then it was Justin Timberlake who sang next, other members in the group are Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick. Peace! ✌☮

NSYNC was the one boyband from back then I wouldn't hit the skip button on. They always had a great R'N'B-y vibe. I saw you already listened to Ginuwine's Pony. Try his "What's so different too" if you get around to it :)

Happy Monday Jayvee! New Subscriber alert! I am going to binge-watch your videos! I am your #1 fan already! I really enjoy your fun reaction. Really enjoy your positive vibe! You take me on a time machine of good music. NSYNC is the best! Great entertainers, vocalists, and dancers. They always have a positive message in their music. I still do the dance in my living room as part of my workout routine for over 20 years now lol. I miss this era of music. Keep up the good work with your reactions. Take care!

I can’t believe this album is over 20 years old now. Wow. I had this album. Fun times. My favorite non released songs are It Makes Me Ill and a slow beautiful song which showcases all their voices called I Thought She Knew.

This song comes from the No String Attached album released right after the lawsuit against Lou Pearlman. The theme celebrates their release from Lou's corrupt influence. Lou was a con man who cheated them and Backstreet Boys out of lots of their earnings. Lance did a documentary on him called The Boyband Con. It's available on KZbin. Vanity Fair did an article and tv episode entitled Mad About the Boys about Lou. Very interesting.

Great group! To better understand the NSYNC hype, you need to see their live performances. Check out their Madison Square Garden performances of Bye Bye Bye, No Strings Attached, It’s Gonna Be Me. The live version of Sailing is really good too. Can’t forget This I Promise You from their Atlantis or Pop Odyssey concerts.

The boy band of the 90s. My young son at the time knew of them and spice Girls. Late 90s and my son was 4. He knew this song more than anything. Lol. Not word for word . He loved it. Started dancing and trying to sing. I wish I had it on video.
