He turned down an 8 million dollar deal after this song went viral. He won't be silenced. All his stuff his good. The miner/minor bar is a double. He wishes politicians would look after miners and not just minors on an island somewhere. He was referring to Epstein Island. Keep checking his music out. Also the guitar is what is called a resonator guitar. Gives it a steel guitar sound. It's the only instrument so no bass for TJ. 😂😂

@@ccormx I’m South African & maybe misinterpreted the lyrics, but based on my understanding of American politics, particularly your border crisis & Jeffery Epstein’s infamous island, I believe Oliver Anthony is talking to us about child trafficking. I don’t think USA has issues with actual miners…do they?

@shaunmalone5406 , yes he is talking about miners. Coal is only 17.8% of the US total consumption for the energy needs supply, and it is on only in states that refuse to accept clean energy. The miners get paid shit, and work too fucking hard for too fucking long, and their politicians refuse to change it.

Seems to me to be kind of stupid to remix something that is absolute perfection as it is. There's a reason that this man and the song resonates with so many different types of people and so many different countries.... The purity and simplicity and the raw emotion doesn't need somebody screwing around with it -rearranging it.
