Taka has lost dear friends...K, Chester, Haruma, Yoshi...They all passed away suddenly. The moment Taka's emotions exploded on stage, I couldn't stop crying. Taka wrote this song for K, whom he respects. This performance speaks volumes about Taka as a person. He is an emotional and truly honest person. He speaks with conviction about what he believes to be right (even if he is sometimes misunderstood or criticized...) He is a truly courageous person, and above all, he is not afraid to take on challenges. I have a lot to learn from Taka's words and actions. Taka's emotions are genuine, which is why his performances resonate with our hearts and are so moving! 💖💖💖

The fact he carries all those emotions with him in each song is a reason I love him so much, always so genuine ❤

PTP is a senior band and big brother band that Taka looks up to and learns a lot from, talks a lot with, and says that touring with them in Kyushu, Japan was the most memorable experience for him and he respects them a lot. K passed away suddenly from acute heart failure, and the song “Smiling Down” was written with his feelings for him in mind. Please listen to it.

Well, Taka was famous before ONE OK ROCK was formed, so he was popular before ONE OK ROCK was formed.

Taka actually wrote the lyrics for this song. P.T.P. was a major influence in the Jrock scene. They were the first Japanese band to write their songs in English. They really influenced bands like Coldrain, My First Story, OOR, and many more. K actually named Hiro's band, My first Story. And I'm not completely sure about this but I believe he also helped come up with OOR's name. You should check out Smiling Down live at Saitama super arena 35xxxv tour. Taka also wrote that song for him as well. Link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hn_Mc6ptjZ6rnJosi=LJtBwf8HhQnSh3Jw

@@GOTGames I'm happy to help. Taka gives an even more emotional performance that's truly hauntingly beautiful. It's C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h. live Field of Wonder Livestream concert. They used the first letter of their friends name for the title. Sadly this performance was dedicated to their friend Haruma, the H in the name, who died earlier that year.
@novrinkov00533 ай бұрын
@@Fatalistic_Viking They weren't the first band to write English lyrics. lol A punk band called "High Standard" had already done it in the 80s and 90s. Hi-Standard is a legendary Japanese punk rock band that was signed to NOFX's Fat Mike's label. They had a major influence on later Japanese bands. In the 90s, many Japanese punk bands wrote lyrics in English due to the influence of "High Standard." Punk was a big hit in Japan at the time. In 1998, a rock band called ELLEGARDEN sang a song in proper English, and Taka was also influenced by it. I think ptp was influenced by those older Japanese bands, they debuted much later in 2006. There are as many rock bands as there are stars in the sky, and it's not as if there weren't any bands that wrote lyrics in English.

Thank you for your always wonderful feedback. The song I would like to recommend is "Be the light." Japan has many earthquakes and other disasters, and this song was written for the victims, but it is also a song full of hope, Never give up and find the light even in the midst of sadness. '' [HDI ONE OK ROCK - Be the light "Mighty Long Fall at Yokohama Stadium" LIVE I especially recommend this LINE performance. Please give it a listen.
I bet you'll be crying your hearth out with joy while watching ONE OK ROCK next month in London. Have a good time in there 👍

The lyrics hit so hard. I think you’d love that one too. ❤ Also, I wiiiish I was going to the London concert as well, but alas… too long of a travel for me right now.

Voice is one of songs from last album "Pay money To my Pain". The Vocal in PTP, named K, passed away while they make the album.(Of cause, they didn't mean to be last one.) Because they made a few song, other menber asked K's friends to make song with them. Also "Voice", the song's words was written Taka and music was made PTP. Everyone made last album for K. Japanese part translation↓ Siren that sounded for those who don't know anything Look, today in this place, there are still people who walk and pretend to know nothing In the passing time, we find out things and we can embrace the future we haven't seen Though the sound has stopped, the echo is still filling inside our bodies afterwards What we will hear from there on isn't his words nor his melody But his voice that's living now inside of me

The band name ONE OK ROCK comes from the fact that when the band was formed, they would gather at the practice studio at 1 o'clock every weekend. If it was 1 a.m., we would be eligible for the late-night pack, so we would gather at 1 a.m. because the fares would be cheaper. The godfather was YOU, an early member and the first drummer. It was named ONE OK ROCK, with one o’clock as OK ROCK, and also meaning “one good rock”.
