What sets Taka apart from most artists - he shines the most during live concerts. Studio versions are nice and all, but the dude has such control over his breath and vocal cords that his live vocals are more powerful than the studio versions. And the audience brings the experience to another level too.

They’re currently on tour in North America with Evanescence and Muse, but only as openers and a 7 song set. All their hard work is paying off and they’re finally getting more traction in the American and international music markets… 👏👏 Taka is certainly my favorite frontman right now as well! I went to their concert in Atl and there was a guy next to me who came from Japan to see them and he told me his fav song was Wasted Nights. When they played the song he sounded so happy I even got his reaction on my recording 😂 I hope he's doing good!

I went to their concert in Brazil and in Japan and all I can say is it's always worth it! In the Americas the venues are smaller, so it's easy to see them very up close, but the synchronized crowds of Japan are amazing as well ✨️

Hello from Brasil! OOR is an amazing surprise, I've known them for about a year, they have tons of high quality songs, with deep and heartful lyrics. From "Luxury disease", their last album released in September, I'd suggest you to check: "Let me let you go", "Save yourself", "Vandalize", "Renegades". But for me there is a real pearl hidden there: "When they turn the lights on" - that will probably evoque Freddie Mercury at some level. Thanks for the review!

Love your reactions and so glad you found One OK Rock. I like when musicians react to their music because you get a different perspective from other people. This song was the theme song for the Japanese movie Kingdom. I think Taka is a great rock frontman but hearing it from you too is so special.

Found this band on a tik.tok some one had his music as background and went thru loops trying to find the name and when I did I was like omg what I have been missing too. I felt right away with his voice. My favorite Asian band. If somebody knows where can I get this band merchandise let me know.

Best Frontman in Rock? Hell yeah! I’ve had that thought for the longest time but my “rational mind” tried to convince me otherwise for reasons like them not being as big globally, comparatively young, blah blah… But at this point I really can’t continue denying the obvious. Taka has amazing range, control, a distinctive tone & style, can scream / fries, sing across genres. Excellent crowd control, multiple language proficiency and a huge presence onstage. He even looks decent so honestly he checks every single criteria I can think of. At the very least, I can confidently admit Taka is second to none as a Rock Frontman.

He pretty much freestyles almost all of his song off the top of the head without having anything written down and there are numerous freestyles of his on the internet with some even going up to over an hour long of just non stop freestyling and his songs are really good and extremely deep, please give him a try mate
