El Maestro Paco de Lucía .....Como desde su corazón enviaba las notas de amor a sus manos por el Flamenco......solo cerraba los ojos......creaba la magia. Uno de los mejores guitarristas del Mundo. Así lo certificaba gente tan seria como Chick Corea, Al di Meola etc etc......el problema es que es Español.........gracias por recuperar una joya de la Música en general

Paco de Lucía never learned to write or read music scores. He did everything with intuition and ear.

I mean, he's known as the greatest guitarist ever. this one is not even that virtuosic, the hardest part is the fact that, this was all improvised... if you get deep into his music, you will fall in love with him, most people don't even like this piece of paco. to see his true skills, watch his tarantas, la Barossa por alegrias, recuerdo a patino which is a alegrias de cordoba, Solo Quiero Caminar. flamenco is very unique, flamenco cantaor/cantaora (singers), Bailaor/Bailaora (dancers) and flamenco guitarists, have to play in certain rythm's called compas. this one is called a rumba, which is one of the easiest compas'. flamenco has over 20 compas' Alegria is a 12 rhythm cycle, with accent's on 3, 6, 8, 10, 12 and is played in a major key, Alegria de Cordoba is played in a minor key and sometimes alternate between major and minor keys. Bulerias is also like Alegria , but faster and more intense and in a different scale and it starts on 12 while Alegria starts on 1. rumba is a simple 4/4 most times which is the closest compas to modern music. siguiriyas is also a 12th beat cycle, but reversed, it starts at the 8th beat, the accents are on 8 10 12 3 and 6 it's the deepest compas of all. can't explain all 20+ compas' here Lol, if you're interested enough, you will go study them yourself.

Mate, if you like Paco de Lucia, you will most likely dig someone who was given a standing ovation by Paco himself, Yamandu Costa. His song "Samba Pro Rapha" is, what I consider to be, perfect music. 7 string classical guitar.

La Barrosa Rio Ancho Almoraima Fuente y Caudal Aires Choqueros Zyryab Punta del Faro I dont agree wirh the comment above dismissing this for being a rumba, and for being improvised to fill one slot in the recording of 'Fuente y Caudal'. This piece (and especially this performance) elevate somrthing that starts simple to a level full of elegance, layers, mastery, and joy.
