I've been a PJ fan since the first time I saw them live in 91. We didn't even know who they were when we walked in! I've been to 11 other shows and the most amazing part about this performance is that he kept his ass on that stool! If you know, you know! There are very few artists who sound just as good or better than their studio recordings, and Ed is one of them!

I love when singers have the courage to perform in such a vulnerable way. Most of us couldn't be that open even in front of our loved ones much less the whole world. Another one that amazes me is Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles' performance in the video for the song "Stay". Talk about vulnerable and courage, geesh.

They delve into so many styles over the years that you never know what you're going to get. Punk, maybe? Blues, could be? Funk, sure why not? Porch at Pinkpop is a classic and I think it will blow your mind. Actually their whole set at Pinkpop 92 was fire. Long way down the road... Check out "Comes Then Goes" from the last studio album. But in this version...you really hear the passion, pain and hurt of a love lost. The line near the end..."I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star...in somebody else's sky...but why can't it be mine?!" is one of the most amazing lines.
