Nice reaction Jo! Pentatonix are one of the best a cappella groups in the world. There are no instruments used in any of their music. All the sounds you hear are created by their voices. The won in 2011 when they competed on the a cappella competition show called the Sing Off on NBC. They have already won 3 Grammy awards and are considered one of the most innovative groups in the music industry. In 2017, one of their original members, Avi Kaplan (the guy with the beard and mustache and really low bass voice) amicably left the group and was replaced by Matt Sallee. The groups has not missed a beat and are still releasing fantastic music and their fanbase, The Pentaholics, continue to grow as each day passes. I would recommend for you to watch Sound of Silence next. Keep up the good work!

Hi, Jo, thanks for picking up on PTX. They have a huge catalog of great music but this one is special (over 1/2 billionj views to date). Check out their coverof "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from the Lion King and their cover of Queen's iconic "Bohemian Rhapsody". They also do a lot of rock and pop covers and produce some of their own music as well. They do tremendous mashups they call "evolution" videos of the works of artists like Michael Jackson, Ariana Grande and Rihanna. The five seen here are the originals - Scott Hoying, the tall blonde who lead off is a baritone with a crazy range; the singer with the beard and the smooth rich bass voice is Avi Kaplan who left the group in 2017 and was replaced by another wonderful bass named Matt Sallee. Kirsti Maldonado (Kirsti, like you would say thirsty) has a soaring soprano voice again with a crazy range; Mitch Grassi is the stunning tenor voice that is unmistakable once you've heard it a few times. Warning though; he is a chameleon by nature and he rarely looks the same in any two videos. Can't miss that voice, though. Kevin Olusola rounds out the group as beat boxer, cellist, singer with a smooth tenor voice and incredible ability with loopers and other musical electronics that he displays on his own channel. These guys nver dissapoint! Have a great one!

In spite of my comment, you should not stop singing. When you sing, you are reacting to what is moving you, and that emotion is beautiful, even if the singing isn't. Never stop reacting the way you feel, no matter what anyone says. I only made the comment because there are so many people who think they can sing when they can't. If you don't believe me, watch some American Idol auditions! But the fact that you know that, proves you are acting on your emotions, instead of your ego, and never let me or anyone else take that away from you:)

You might want to turn the volume up a bit, but be sure we can hear you clearly. Most people watching reactions have heard the song a thousand times, so we don't need to be hearing the music clearly. It's YOUR reaction that is going to make us watch YOUR reaction videos. Talking over the video will help prevent copyright strikes, (and it lets you stay 'in the mood') but of course if you have a lot to say pause the video. Overall, good reaction. And any headphones are better than no headphones!

Austin their live version actually sounds like this version which says alot. Because alot of artists don't sound as good live without all the stuff they do to songs once it gets edited in the studio. Its incredible to sound just as good live as you do on your CD.

Welcome to the new world of a capella. Pentatonix and Home Free have rewritten the book on a capella worldwide. All of the suggestions for more songs to listen to are great. They have 3 Grammys, one for their "Daft Punk Medley", one for their" Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies", and one for basically being Dolly Parton's backup band(?) on "Jolene". Also, try "Imagine" (John Lennon), "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Queen), "Sound of Silence" (Simon & Garfunkle), and of course, any of their Christmas music. If I were you, I'd go to their channel and take your pick from so many of their covers and originals. If you like Ariana, they've done her. Beyonce, check. And so on...they are amazing. My personal favorite original of theirs is "Love Again", but they released a new original song last month called "Happy Now". It's the first original song they released with Matt Sallee (the bass who replaced Avi in 2018) and it has excited many Pentaholics. It was a good reaction but the volume on the video was a bit up and down. Pentatonix can be pronounced differently depending on where you are from I would prefer that you not sing louder than the video or at all because it ruins what you are reacting to as then we can't hear it. Pause to speak then rewind and definitely the headphones are a must
