Just found your channel and binged your Pacebo reactions... Thank you for that! I have been listening to Placebo on and off for the past 20 years (gosh, I'm getting old...anyway) and I am glad that you gave them a chance. My first song was actually Pure Morning as well which I really liked and when I first heard Without You I'm Nothing with the man himself, I knew, I was hooked. I really enjoy your reactions because you don't hold back with your emotions / thoughts / doubts about the songs and don't react in a way you might think us Placebo-fans want you to react. So kudos for that and keep it up. P.S and not to sound pretentious - Every You, Every Me is actually one of my least favourite songs, so you are not alone with your opinion ;) . But I digress - if you liked Bright Lights you might want to check out 'For What It's Worth' from the same album - it is similar in tone or maybe 'The Bitter End' which I think was their commercially most successful song...both songs are not as 'gloomy'.
