You know a song is special when a girl blushed listening to it. I don't blame her. Everything here are off the chart like the harmony, melody, lyrics, musicianship and especially the falsetto. The lead vocalist nailed it bigtime.

I was a teenager when this was released and my reaction then was very much like yours now. The harmony, the instrument mix, that high-hat, the lyrics, all blended to make a perfect song for a hopelessly romantic kid. There are so many songs from this era that I think you'd love to react to: Ace - "How Long", Carly Simon - "That's The Way I've Always Heard It Should Be", Roberta Flack - "Feel Like Makin' Love", The Isley Brothers - "That Lady". I hope you give them a listen!
