This song has a huge place in my heart. I remember getting out of the water surfing in Ventura California, and walking to the truck where my wife was sitting in the back of the bed Sun tanning. I took my wetsuit off and hopped in laying in the back of that truck watching the surf when the song came on. The sun was getting close to setting. Something about this song and the timing of it couldn't have been any better. Laying there in the late sunlight, next to my beautiful wife with my arm around her just looking at the waves. One of those moments that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Love it.

Days of Future Passed was a timeless, groundbreaking album. From 1967 on the Decca label, it was the first true stereo album and no other group or artist from the time could have been better for it than the Moody Blues. It is depressing to think that this came out 55 years ago because it makes me feel old for remembering hearing it for the first time. A new genre of music that would become known as progressive rock, among other names. I fell in love with the Moody Blues when I heard this and my love of their music is as great today as it was then. It is nice to see new generations discovering and appreciating their work. The joy and awe of the Moody Blues will continue for generations to come.

I simply love the fact that you usually let a song play through entirely without stopping so many times to immediately give your reaction, unnecessarily interrupting the flow of the song. Other channel owners doing the same thing that you do Morenkeiji I find so annoying to watch as they constantly pause the song every minute or so as, for some reason, they just cant wait until the entire song has completed before providing their comments. Frankly, I find your channel the best! Please don't stop what you're doing, and how you go about filming your vids. Other channel owners can learn from you as your subscriber list says it all!

Such a wonderful thing to watch a beautiful woman get emotionally impressed by an incredible song. This is a masterpiece by Moody Blues, apart from the heartfelt vocals the flute solo and the ending orchestration leave me with tears running down my cheeks. Thankyou so much Moree!

I was just a young kid when I heard this for the first time on the radio... I remember it, I was asleep,, and I woke up to it, and it had sorta taken over me, it was a pleasant musical experience, the kind that you feel... hard to explain

I first heard Justin"s voice on a car radio in the late 60s. The song was Tuesday Afternoon. I knew immediately this was a music style I wanted more of. Years later I was in England (my parents home) and I traveled down to Cobham to see where the Moodies lived. Magical place much like their music. Eventually I had the privilege of meeting Justin and the rest of the band. An exceptional group of men that produced music that is timeless and soothing to the Soul. Happy to see this young lady's reaction to this wonderful and ever unique melody that crosses time from so long ago. In Conscious Health - Charles

I've seen them 5 times ,3 with a Orchestra backing. Of the nearly 70 or so concerts from many bands, the Concert by The Moody Blues in 2001 at the Paul Mason winery in California is Number 1. Just the band only. small Venue, 2000 attending. I had an 80 year old man to my left an a late teen on my wife's right. We all, (old man and teen too) the whole audience sang every word to every song. Ushers were dancing in the Isles. Showing they cross generations with their music. I still have the Concert Jersey hanging up on display. It doesn't fit anymore me being now 67 which means it will never wear out. ;-) A fan since 1974.

One of the best love songs of all time. The best smooch song of all time. I have loved it since it came out when I was 10 in 1967 and it has followed me down the years.

I just came across your channel and so glad I did. Whenever I hear Nights in White Satin by The Moody Blues, I am immediately transported back to the early 1970s, when I was hearing it for the very first time. Then and now, I get chills and have tears in my eyes while I listen. Every. Single. Time. It is the song that will always remind me of my very first love. Sadly, he died of an aggressive brain tumor just a few years ago, so ever since I received the news, this song has affected me even more deeply than it did before. Very bittersweet but still very beautiful. Your reaction was very real and lovely to see. It makes me very happy to see young people enjoying and appreciating the music that comes from our generation. (I am 66 years young. 🙂) I hope you have had the opportunity to hear the even longer version of this, which are some spoken words with music in the background, at the very end of what you heard. Short, but quite dramatic. You can probably just search Nights in White Satin/ long version. I think you will enjoy that part too. Blessings, and thanks for making my day.🌹

I was THERE... This was my "Teen Years" and early adulthood. Absolutely one of my Lifetime Favorites... Although the Beatles clearly had more "Variety" in their music, no other Band/Group had songs and music that had Flowing, emotion and seemed to touch you internally. Led Zeppelin had many of their songs that changed 'pace', but not even "Stairway to Heaven" has the EMOTIONAL experience driven by the flow of the "Mood"... Like the "Moody Blues" ... I used to sit in my living room with all of the lights turned out, and listen to album after album of "Moody Blues" in my version of "surround-sound" -- 4 'Speaker-boxes' with 3 speakers each (base, Mid-Range, and Tweeter) -- and imagine myself sitting on stage in the middle of all the different Musicians... and 'feeling' the drum-beats as the paper diaphragms of those speakers vibrated like the skins on the drums...

Huge fan of the Blues! They came to my home town and played with our local orchestra. During a local interview, Graeme Edge was asked about playing with local orchestras. He said none of the band members can actually read sheet music, so they couldn't actually practice with each orchestra. The first time they played with each orchestra was the night of the show. They put on a wonderful show in Casper, WY!
