When he goes from falsetto to baritone, that blows my mind every single time I hear it!

TPL you stated that you "love the 1930s feel of this song", is it because of the cabaret setting of the video or something else? I find your comment extremely interesting.

Michael Jackson's fans cry when Prince goes down to the basement of his low voice and turns again into falsetto easy as hell here 03:33. And this is just a 10% of his vocal range and singing skills. I always loved that part, so elegant! kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5eUmqube7N4jpI

They are so shook By Prince in general. Everybody Knew he had no Peers. We as Prince fans don't have to go and Spam every video or make points like he didn't have a childhood and so on. You know what Prince fans do we Let his work Speak for itself.💯

@@gifted2at94We can rest easy, they usually just watch Michael Jackson's videos as if it was porn. I'm happy listening to almost all kind of music from classical jazz to electronic. That brought me a lot of keystones as references to evaluate the good an artist can be. That kind of references that an average fan of whomever doesn't got, specially MJ's ones. Their favourite is "he sold thousand of billions of records" as if selling records make an artist. E.G. Gagnam Style...

@@oskarobit Yes they can quote his album sales and don't even understand he couldn't play a lick of any instrument. I try so hard not to mix up with the Mj Cult but every so often I just break, like to one of the Mj cultist said no joke here, Mj had the highest ratings of his Funeral, again I'm not joking. The he said the Prince death wasn't even covered 🙏So I said listen here you obvious Virgin, Prince's death was covered for days. Most channels kept it going for 24 hour's straight. Then I took a deep breath and said to myself, leave it alone I'm sure searching for funeral ratings was the most important thing it had ever done......... True story.

@@gifted2at94 Yes! And not only that, the best musicians in the world mourned his loss. And when I say the best I mean THE BEST MUSICIANS IN THE WORLD! Because they lost a benchmark, an idol, a genius, the most talented musician in recent decades.

Ummmm, I'm THE ULTIMATE Michael Jackson fan (and I'm THE ULTIMATE Prince fan) and I ASSURE you I don't cry, at least not for the reason YOU'RE thinking. I cry because it's sheer greatness to hear Prince's voice travel all across the musical scale in such a way. For the life of me, I've NEVER understood the comparison between the two. They were totally different types of artists. It has always upset me that people have always compared them. WHY?!!!! Each were great in HIS own lane.

This song was musically smooth, sensual, and soothing regarding its overall instrument play. I really liked the quality of sound in that it didn't have an electronic sound as related to the drums which gave it a natural sound. I could listen to this song on a regular basis and not grow tired of it....Prince's versatility and creativity are the hallmarks of his musical genius....
