I think it’s best that they stay like this, Radiohead means a lot to many people (including myself) and to see their music being played behind some dumb video on TikTok makes them look like a joke.

How in the hell do you figure that they are underrated? LOL! They are one of the best selling bands and have received endless accolades from critics and peers! They inspired countless musicians and bands and were trendsetters in the music they produced. I have been fortunate enough to see them play live two times, and without a doubt those two shows rank in my all-time top five favorite concerts I’ve ever attended. I even cried during one of their songs, which I never did at any other show. I’m someone that used to work in the music industry, so I’ve been to an absolutely insane amount of concerts in my life - I couldn’t even estimate how many I’ve been to. Radiohead performs absolutely amazing live, and whoever they hired to do their sound is so beyond talented that it blows my mind... Whether you are seated in the nosebleed section, or right up front, the sound will be just as stellar. I’ve never been to a concert like that where the sound is that on point and magnificent. They were both outdoor shows too! I just can’t even fathom why you would say they are “underrated!“

@Marcellus Edward and the “Ahmed Andres” accounts are the same person using alt sock accounts to promote their scam. The two accounts were even created on the same exact day, and you will see this every single time in the comment sections when they promote this BS. The people who do this clearly aren’t very bright if they think people can’t tell it is the same person writing both comments LOL. So sick and tired of seeing this crap everywhere on KZbin.

Oddly, I awoke the other morning with this playing in my head. Such a great tune. Recommended: “Fake Plastic Trees” “Exit Music (for a film)” “Street Spirit (Fade Out)” “No Surprises” I came late to Radiohead. I fell in love with “Creep” when all the contestants on “Rock Star INXS” sang it. That show was a contest to find a new lead singer for INXS after Michael Hutchence died. Radiohead was getting ready to release “In Rainbows”. That became the first Radiohead album I ever owned. Since then, I’ve seen them five times (and Thom Yorke’s project with Flea, Atoms for Peace, twice). Thom is genius. Any Radiohead stuff you can listen to, I heartily recommend. Welcome to the rabbit hole. 💜💜💜

Man the lighting and color filters on this video is SO 90's. Every a fashion magazine and music video had this spot light with saturated color. Fun trivia, this song borrows a few musical passages from a Beatles song called "Sexy Sadie." If you listen to that song, you'll definitely hear the inspiration. The band have never denied this either. They called it "aiming and missing" where they would start by trying to copy an existing song then letting it take on a life of its own while they worked on it.

the end part of the song is where Thom really put a LOT of emotion into it because it refs to a time in his life where going home from collage he came across something so shocking it put him into shock for a minute so he lost himself. Something quite the same happened to me when a neighbour hung himself and i found the body so i know EXACTLY what Thom felt at that time. He got FED UP of people thinking he was depressed or sad and went on record to explain that line

I think it's more the case that the man running is being beaten down by something - work, oppression of some kind, life in general - relentlessly until he's exhausted. But in pursuing him, the car has left a trail of petrol, and the man finally realises that he can get his revenge with a match - HE'S the one enacting karma on the ones who've been beating him down, and the car is destroyed as much by its own shortcomings (a leaky fuel pipe) as by him. Looking forward *very* much to your Paranoid Android viewing if you thought this was trippy! And then I recommend you "Fake Plastic Trees", "No Surprises", and maybe "There There" as other great Radiohead options.

Radiohead was inspired by The Beatle's "Sexy Sadie" on this track. They used an extremely similar chord progression which sounds almost identical on the piano parts of the song. Also, the lyrical theme has been influenced by the same Beatles song

Thanks for the info .. I love both this song and Sexy Sadie, but wouldn't have guessed there was any link between them musically .. Now you bring it up, I can kind of hear some resemblances, but it's not something that I would ever have picked out by myself .. Cheers, Wayne

I know the song well but haven't seen the video before. I interpret the video as Karma actually catching up with the singer rather than the guy running in front of the car. Radiohead aren't to everybody's taste but there's always a reward in persevering with them.
