Also as for info about them Rammstein is a German metal band who formed in 1994. Till Lindemann is the lead vocalist, Richard Kruspe is the lead guitar, Paul Landers rhythm guitar, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christopher Schneider, and keyboard Christian Lorenz. One of the things I love most about this band is every member is the exact same as when the band first formed. They didnt really hit it big until their 2nd album which went number 1 in Germany and sparked a worldwide tour lasting almost 4yrs. Their music has also been featured in various movies. Most notably Fire Frei on the XXX soundtrack staring Vin Diesel. You have came across one of the greatest bands to ever form my friends! Much love and respect for your reactions. In addition. Rammstein is assigned to Industrial Metal. The band itself calls it Dance Metal. In Germany they belong to the genre "Neue Deutsche Härte (NDH)" [New German Hardness]. The name of the band is named after US Airbase Ramstein with one "m". The band members did not know it better then. Originally they even called themselves "Rammstein Flugschau" [air show] in reference to the Air show disaster of 1988. This accident is the theme in the song "Rammstein".

Close. It is Christoph Schneider and Christian "Flake" (pronounced flah-ker) Lorenz. He is credited in the album notes as Doktor Christian Lorenz as he wanted to be a surgeon, but refused to serve in the armed forces, so was unable to do so. He is called Flake as opposed to Christian. They toured with KoRn and Limp Bizkit in America and worldwide in support of their second album, Sehnsucht, from which came Du Hast, their breakthrough single. It featured in The Matrix, amongst many other films. The song used in the intro to xXx was Feuer Frei! (the literal translation would be something like fire freely, or fire at will) the official video of course uses clips from the movie, but is essentially a live concert filmed in a church in Belarus, I believe. I could continue, but I think I have pointed out all the slight inaccuracies.

Cool reaction!! What can I say...RAMSTIEN first time I heard one of there songs was back in 1992. Du hast was the song. Ever since then I bought all there albums. When I was stationed in schweinfurt Germany in the Military I had the pleasure of meeting them in Berlin. They are a German rock band and the vocalists name is till lindman. Some of the videos that I think you will like is the sonne video, feuer Frei video, PUSSY video, haifisch video and radio video just to name a few. Till lindman I believe is from Leipzig Germany. They are some kind and down to earth people.

If you read the english lyrics....it basically says "I want to Hurt You" the song is about extreme BDSM..the video/ song was actually blocked in their native country for almost a year. They have had to upload several of their videos to porn sites because of their content. They began their music in East Germany (before the wall came down) that hardship they endured comes out in their music. All their videos are mini movies and very artfull, especially their last two: 'Deutschland" and "Radio"

Here are some suggestions: "Sonne" (Live Rock im Park / Rammstein Official) --> Hot as the name giving sun (Sonne = Sun) "Ich tu Dir weh" (Hurricane Festival / Rammstein Official) --> Great singing and insane stage action towards the end) "Mein Teil" (Live Hurricane Festival 2013) --> Read the story behind the song (a real case of cannibalism!) first. "Willst Du das Bett in Flammen Sehn" (Paris Version) --> Pyro Fashion, power, everything that Rammstein stands for "Benzin" (Madison Square Garden) --> Benzin = Gasoline --> burns well. And maybe also a man? There are of course a lot more insane live videos of them: "Links 2,3,4", Engel, "Mann gegen Mann", "Mutter", "Feuer Frei", "Ich will", ... Have fun and rock on!
