If you find the story in this song interesting, you should check out Sugarland's song Stay. It HAS to be the video and not the live version. You'll understand why, when you see it.

So, so true!! Stay by Sugarland is a must hear. Jennifer Nettles had a deep connection to that song. You don’t even have to see her because you can hear it in her voice, but if you add the video into the mix it is extremely powerful. The best Vocal Artists are the ones who have been through their own struggles in life, and they’re strong enough to share their stories with all of us. When I think of this I always think of Reba’s song Forever Love. That song gets me every single time, and she actually plays in the movie based on the song, and omg if you haven’t seen it find it because you really need to. Reba has an accident and falls into a coma. She is married with young children at the time this happens, and she has a happy life. After the accident she is in a coma for like 20 years or something like that and then one day she just wakes up. She missed out on so much while she was out. She missed out on her children growing up, and her Husband or her “Forever Love,” is. . . Well, that’s all I am going to say because you just need to watch it for yourself. It’s a great movie and it is one of those you won’t soon forget! The Power of Love is can sometimes break us, tear us down and make us feel like we are just ready to give up, but it is also something that everyone will experience throughout their life, and when you really find it hold on to it with all your might.

This version of Reba's song is better than the new version with Dolly Parton. Reba and Linda's voices compliment each other. Linda was Reba's back up singer for years at concerts. Linda had a chart topper of her own.

You need to check out the official video of this song. It's one of those classic country videos that is like a mini movie to match the song. Ah. Remember when music videos use to do that and MTV and CMT use to play those videos? I really miss those days, as much as admitting as much ages me. LOL. Her version with Dolly is great as well, considering Reba and Dolly are Country Music Queens. Also, I agree - He doesn't sincerely love either one of them. He's playing them. I think most cheaters like the thrill of getting away with it. Again, I can't stress enough that you need to see the official video. I also highly suggest She thinks His Name Was John by Reba. It deals with a pretty serious subject, especially for the time it was released, in 1994.

You should listen to the version of this song with Kelly Clarkson. Linda Davis is good, but this song went a whole new level when Kelly added her pipes to the "mistress's" part. And yes, the song is exactly what you think it's about, the wife and the other woman singing about their man. Reba has done some amazing duets over the years. Some other good duets would be: Does the Wind Still Blow in Oklahoma - w/Ronnie Dunn (from Brookes & Dunn) Because of You - w/Kelly Clarkson Every Other Weekend w/Kenny Chesney (Someone you really should react to. He's a great country singer with some good story songs) The Heart Won't Lie w/Vince Gill If You See Him/If You See Her w/Brooks & Dunn Other Reba songs: He Gets That From Me Consider Me Gone Turn the Radio On The Greatest Man I Never Knew Forever Love Whoever's in New England Just Like Them Horses

MrLb, pure class brother! It's so entertaining to watch creators as they're being knocked off balance while listening to a new song! To watch your facial expressions as so many questions and emotions are coursing through your mind is Priceless! At one point you kind of had that look, like when a dog tilts it's head to one side as if to say "WTF?". The very same response you're hoping for when you play it for others later! I hope you get that reaction. Pure gold my friend! Keep up the good work! Peace!!☮

My mom loved Reba. She’s been gone 16 years now on Christmas. Thanks for playing this.

Some of my favorites you haven't covered are, And Still, You Lie, Little Rock, and her Duet with Vince Gill, The Heart Won't Lie. A couple notes about this song: fun fact is that Linda was one her back up singers who got a solo contract and then they did this duet. If you watch the official video, it's epic.

The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia was the first song I heard Reba sing in the 90's (early 90's) and I was the biggest fan from that moment on. Every song she does is a jam. Fancy is a good one, How Was I to Know is amazing and check out her duet with Kelly Clarkson Because of You. Reba actually had a whole album of duets that was a great album.

I remember this seeing this live at an awards show. I believe it was the first time I ever heard it. A stunning vocal performance and such a raw emotional song. Nothing like it out there i’ve heard. Sidebar. Linda Davis is mom of Hilary Scott of Lady Antebellum.

I have watched several of your reactions, but this is my all-time favorite. I listen to almost exclusively country; so, I tend to watch only those reactions, but your visible shock and confusion caused me to laugh out loud several times. You really should do a reaction of the official video. As with most of Reba's video's it is almost like a short movie with all that it entails.

It's soulful/somber. They are competing for this man's love. They are not sharing; they are competing. This is the power/influence of love, self-sacrifice, and forgiveness.

You can't go wrong watching Reba even if you watch the Kenny Rogers movie, The Gambler Returns. Reba is amazing.

The video for this is iconic along with that red dress Reba is wearing.....that plunging neckline was a little shocking back in the early 90s
