A magical duo from Sweden,Marie Frediksson will defintly go down in history as one of the most iconic voices in modern pop/rock. I do consider them a pop duo,but they have songs that are defintly stepping into the pop-rock sub genre. A really good example there is an early hit of theyrs called The Look. So sad to see Roxette come to an end because of the worst thing i can possibly think of today: cancer. I still remember how destroyed Per Gessle was when he had to give a statement about her passing. She had been battling it for years,so they sort of knew it was coming. But you can never be prepared for such a thing, when it happens. If you havent done The Look yet,i highly recommend it. Its by far my favourite Roxette song!
