“I ain’t seen this type of rock in minute” - yes bro. The scene era was a magical one. Some of the best, most melodic/hardcore and accessible to everyone music that was ever created. I’m so glad your reaction is like this because it is pure. Around that time (when I was in HS) it didn’t matter what you were black white Spanish Asian we all had that one friend that got us into this type of music or you were that one friend and in general we were all just vibing to the music and going to shows together. Man I miss those days.

In your journey of listening to music and artists you have never heard WE as an audience are also discovering new music. Between your originality and the comments a dialogue is opening up between the generations. You are bringing some joy during difficult times. Thank you.

my daughter shared all kinds of music with me..it also takes an open mind..my dad HATED everything i listened to! i didn't want to do that to my daughter because music speaks to the soul and when you share that? it's important! it's someone telling you who they are..sharing a part of their soul with you!
@valeriemaldonado17584 жыл бұрын
Kimmy Pfeiffer That is so true. My youngest son did the same and turned me on to listening to hip hop artists I may not have listened to on my own. His father and I listen to all genres and now he appreciates all music too. Stay safe!

I wholeheartedly agree!! Even when I don't particularly like a song they listen to i still appreciate the exposure to it. I always read through most of the comments (sometimes there are just way too many!) & am thrilled to see the diversity in ages, genders, nationalities. These two are music ambassadors!! Lol

Have you guys really not reacted to Otis Redding, Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay? You would love it. The tones Otis' voice gets to are other-worldly. The lyrics almost seem to me like he was foreshadowing his death in a plane crash weeks after he laid down the track. It's like waiting for the next stage, the next level - what is death but the next stage anyway? Maybe that's too deep of an interpretation, but it's a BANGER all the same, think you'll love it
