Bali seni dan budayanya msh full lestari bahkan mahal nilainya, serta terus berkembang semakin maju tp tetap pd pakem2 seni Balinya. Sedangkan... Jawa sdh lebih dari setengah menghilang cuma sedikit yg benar2 menekuni, dg penduduk sebanyak itu serta luas wilayah yg wow berkali-kali lipat Bali, tp gak keliatan seni budayanya serasa tenggelam didasar Lautan, bahkan Nilai mahalnya pun tak terlihat karena generasi penerusnya Dikit dibandingkan jumlah penduduk sama luas pulaunya. Umpamanya bgini dr 10 orang Bali 9 pasti aktif berkesenian Tradisional karena sdh jd bagian hidup Bali. Nah jawa dr 10 paling cuma 1 atau 2 yg aktif berkesenian Tradisional jawa.... Makanya pulau Bali yg kecil memiliki jumlah Tarian Tradisional yg jauh lebih banyak dr keseluruhan pulau Jawa... Pdhl dulu Jawa adalah pusatnya Seni Tari yg Indah

This is a classic Balinese gamelan ... the rhythm is very distinctive ... if u notice Sir, they play dinamic tempo of their music - calm, a bit faster, soothing, very fast, then stricking tempo, then calm again - this is the character of traditional (classic) Balinese gamelan. hundreds years ago in java island ( not sure what happened in Bali ) before music players era, it's common for royal families and rich families to hire a player to play at their home all day long... usually a singer ( female singer, male singer is very rare ) and a player as melody, sometimes only a player without singer... only rich people can afford all these instruments ( it's well tuned and has own standard tuning (different from modern music tuning some microtone there) even from different maker it has the same tune only different timbre ), you need at least 2 instruments to play all song because there are two different pentatonic scales separated in different instruments... the songs categorized with scale types or combination of both.
