The first guy singing, Bang Chan, aka Christopher Bahng, is Korean, but he's from Australia. English is his first language.

This song is about compulsion. (Korean Title) Both are workaholics. They are not likely to be in bed much before 4am. No matter how much they try to take a break they find themselves back at work, doing their best to show us what they love doing in the hopes we love it too. Red Lights is referring to the studio lights when recording songs. They are so talented, they write songs in such a way that you can find your own meaning in them.

Korean title is not obsession but ‘compulsion’ (강박) 😊

they wrote that song purposely ambiguous (so the first impression is (dark) love and these BDSM vibes etc.), but it also shows how their relationship to their work is. I really like that the story has two storylines, depending on what layer you're looking at. Their aesthetics are ofc gorgeous, but their minds, man... their minds are creative geniuses. For a next reaction, maybe watching a guide video would help first? So you get a feeling of who the members and the group as a whole are first. For a next song, I recommend Thunderous, Maniac, or Lalalala and Megaverse (the last two are on their newest album)

According to Bang Chan (the one who starts singing, with orange hair) this song is about being a workaholic. My boy cannot sleep thinking about producing. So it's like a sweet obsession because he suffers but he loves it😂❤ thanks for your reaction ❤

I doubt they practiced for weeks. ONLY because they each have trained (as trainees) for years before they could debut. They are literally trained professionals in dance, vocals, rap, and all elements of producing.

3:58 Yes, I agree with you. Their songs are like a soundtrack. They actually made an OST called Top for an anime called Tower of God. and this song feels like Fifty Shades of Gray

I’m so glad that you reacted to them again after some of the not so nice comments on your first reaction video! Love this reaction and how open you are to new music! Their discography is massive but you should check out some of their older stuff from when they first started like hellevator(pre debut) , double knot, district 9(debut song) , and victory song are a few of my favorites! Thanks for the reaction!

They have a making of video for this music video you can check out. Red Lights was my first Skz experience and is an absolute masterpiece. Freeze, Gods Menu or Charmer (lyric video) next. Thanks for reacting again to our self producing Kings.

You should do Easy, Taste is a good one, The story that doesnt end also sometimes titled the never ending story its a great vocal performance especially since people tend to only know their heavy rap songs. Also check out Gods Menu, Thunderous and Circus. But Easy is my favorite 😊

English is Bang Chan's first language since he is Korean Australian. So if anything, he has an Aussie accent. Hyunjin is a native South Korean but he can speak some English and his pronunciation is pretty close to American.
