The entire album, Crime of the Century, is their masterpiece, in my humble opinion. Like all great albums, it needs to listened to all the way through, preferably with headphones. 😊❤

Hearing some songs from Supertramp before you could predict what this is about even without hearing it. Great reaction, great song.

This song reminds me that the popular music I grew up listening to was amazing chaos. Pop rock radio stations at the time played this song twice an hour in the rotation.

Beautiful reaction! (So are you.) And good understanding of it. I’m sure others have said this but you have to react to Child Of Vision. I really would like to see you and hear your discussion of it. Luv ya! 😊❤

Sweet! I was a kid in school when this song dropped. It's one of the first Supertramp songs I remember hearing on the radio, albeit a few years afterward. The lyrics sailed over my head at the time though, but the instrumentation was more than mysterious enough to catch my attention back then. When you're ready for more from Supertramp check out "Dreamer" and "Give A Little Bit". Those are happy songs that I'm sure you'll like, Fay.

I like the musical transitions in this song and especially love the fantastic piano solo! I noticed that you did too. 😊 Lyrically, there is tension between adults controlling children too much and allowing kids freedom to live and learn about life and the world on their own. Thanks Fay!
