OK Sceez, how could you not figure out that the little blonde girl in the video is Taylor? Marjorie is Taylor's material grandmother. When she is holding a newborn that is Taylor's Mom, Andrea. At the end sitting on the sofa is Andrea, Marjorie and Taylor.

She wrote this about her grandmother. She was an opera singer. Her mom found recordings of her singing and put her voice in this song

Marjorie was her grandma, who was a famous opera singer. Taylor gets her musical drive from her grandma’s influence. ❤️

I was never a Taylor Swift fan, but hadn’t heard much of her music until I began going down the rabbit hole! This was a beautiful one and see what all the hype is about now! Obviously the apple didn’t far fall from the tree. Beautiful reaction 💞

I am not a Taylor Swift fan at all and had no desire to listen to her music and my friend recommended this song. I gave it a try and I wasn’t impressed at first until he told me it was about Swift’s grandma and now I love it. All 4 of my grandparents meant the world to me as well, even my great grandmother who lived to be 101 years old. They all were the best grandparents anyone could have and their love has no beginning and no end, it lives in my mind and heart now. My parents weren’t around much both having full time jobs, then divorcing so my grandparents stepped up. All 4 of them showed so much love to me, same as they did others, strangers to no one, their love has no boundaries. They have all been gone now for over 2 decades and I miss them desperately. I doubt I will listen to more of Swift’s music but this song touched my heart and spoke to me in my grandma’s voice. Such beautiful memories I have and one TS song to hold it them for me. Great reaction!

The Best Day is another good song about Taylor's mom. You shouldn't let old media rumors keep you from listening to anyone's music. Taylor has 10 studio albums, they are all different genres. And that is why Taylor has so many fans who love her, many of her songs people identify with, and has helped people get through some things. I am 64 and I could not pick just one favorite.

@@Violet316 I definitely will listen to Beautiful Day. What media reference are you talking about? I have no idea about this. I listen to many different genres of music, pretty much anything except contemporary country pop and death metal. I have nothing against Swift herself. In fact I admire her as a person and a businesswoman. The most I knew about her before the Eras tour was a show called Miss Americana and after seeing that is when I saw what a smart businesswoman and very intelligent, suing that stain of a dj that grabbed her a$$ and she won 1.00 from him which must have been a delicious history. On Christmas we rented the movie Eras tour. I am a huge Springsteen fan and my first concert of his was before he was even mainstream popular. The first time I saw him in concert he played over 3 hours, always has in every concert of his, he always plays over 3 hours so that she does it as well that impressed me. That alone is great. From watching that if I did buy any of her music it would be Evermore and Folklore. From what I heard from those is cool and I like those genres, Celtic and UK vibes and old fashioned music. I imagine I could listen to them. What are your favorites from her? Maybe I’ll give them a chance. Basically I just don’t care for her brand of music, nothing against her whatsoever. I’m sure if she ever ran for president every fan of hers would vote for her! If you like interesting genres of music and live one take music videos check out Ren, &an artist from the UK with the most heart, soul and talent I’ve ever heard and being 60 years old I’ve heard a lot. He does so many genres and is an incredible singer, his voice can do anything it’s so beautiful. He composes all his music and edits it to put it on KZbin. All that aside his music can make you laugh, cry, dance, sing and importantly, think. He’s blowing up on KZbin because of his talent and he brings a vulnerability to his songs that hits hard. Most people start with Hi Ren and pretty much every reaction channel is showcasing him lately. When he was 17 he had a record deal with Sony but he became so ill he had to quit before he’d started. He has Lyme disease but doctors misdiagnosed him with everything except Lyme disease and doctors threw drugs at him without knowing it was Lyme. This went on for 10 years before discovering it, causing him to deal with side effects for that long. By the time they realized what is was the disease had destroyed so many neurons it started damaging his neurons in his brain. He is in Canada right now recovering and getting intensive treatment to reverse the damage done. So many of his videos are one takes like Hi Ren. Hi Ren doesn’t blow you away with it’s vulnerability and talent and m he can captivate you for 9 minutes that pass by in what feel like seconds. He composes and produces all of his songs, plays guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, piano and electric guitar. His video Hi Ren has 24 million views. I have never seen this kind of talent in my 60 years of living and he’s only 33 years old. If you love music you won’t be disappointed. He puts all of his videos on KZbin, doesn’t copyright claim on the reaction channels for showing his videos because he is independent artist who produces and releases his music, side stepping record labels. His kindness and positivity have scored him legions of fans simply because of his whopping talent. That’s partly how his new album was number 1 on the UK billboard charts, through his raw talent and support of his fans, the Ren-egades. If you made it through this incredibly long reply well then hey there! No prize but hopefully a new artist you can check out!

@@Violet316you are 64? I’m 60! The way you feel about Taylor Swift is how I feel about Ren. He deals with a lot, illness and mental health struggles. His vulnerability can wrench your heart. I’ve never seen anyone so talented in so many ways. I think as we get older we expect more from artists than just songs, we want meaning and creativity from them and it looks like Swift and Ren have captivated our hearts! Please keep other songs that have impressed you, I wouldn’t mind learning more.

@@alloralou4722 The Best Day, and it has a slide show video. There is a song called "Forever Winter" that she wrote about her friend who committed suicide, she also wrote a song called "Ronan" about a little boy who died just before his 4th birthday, Taylor had been following the mom's blog, and Taylor felt compelled to write a song using the mom's words and gave writing credits, the proceeds go to cancer research, the video also has a slide show, Ronan was a very beautiful boy. Warning, tissues are recommended. Taylor doesn't perform this song at her concerts, she did it once, only because the mom came to her show, so she sang it in honor of Ronan. Taylor helps a lot of her fans, sends them presents, surprise visits them, and visits ill or injured children, no camera crew, family members post the footage. Taylor also helps keep students in school by helping them with tuition, there was a young woman who just had a baby but didn't have a home to take her baby to, so Taylor made it happen. Anyway, let me know what you think of the songs.

You're so right when you say that we take time for granted. We all thought for sure my dad was going to beat his cancer. Even HE thought he was going to. It was once they started doing the brain radiation as a preventative meaure that he went downhill FAST. Like within a few weeks he was gone. My dad was always my Superman. Strongest man I knew. He could never die. And then he did. 💔
