A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZbin. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZbin I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on KZbin won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This KZbin channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

One of the most iconic songs of the 80s decade. “Welcome to your life-there’s NO turning back.” Love TFF, saw them twice live back in the day. 12,000 people in the coliseum; on their feet for anthems like this, respectful and attentive for the quiet, thoughtful songs.... 100% engaged. I'd love to see you react to other singles from Tears for Fears. This was their biggest smash album: their first album hit #1 in the UK (where they're from), and this one put them at the top in the US and around the world as well. "Shout" was also from this album, as was "Head Over Heels" (I'd recommend, if you're going to do the latter, you combine it with "Broken", the song that comes right before it on the album, as that song leads into "Head Over Heels" and comes back in at the end of it as well).

I´m 49 years old HUGE Tears for Fears fan and live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I saw them live twice, both here in Buenos Aires. The first time in a big soccer stadium in 1990 when they were in their prime, and they sounded AMAZINGLY. The second time in 2011 in a much smaller venue, a popular Arena here in Argentina. This time 80% of the crowd were in their 40s and 50s, with die hard fans like me. And they knocked it out of the park again! Such an underrated 80s band!

They were one of the bigger groups in the 80’s which was filled with one-hit-wonders. Tears for Fears had several big hits. They had a smooth sound but a lot of their songs were about social issues like corruption - the theme of “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” I can remember almost every word of all their songs that’s how big of a musical influence they were for me in high school. Please listen more of their music but if you were to choose just one other song, make sure to listen to “Shout”! But don’t limit yourself, your listeners have listed some great songs, “Sowing the Seeds of Love”. I know I’ll be listening to Tears for Fears for the rest of the week!

You wouldn’t lose any viewers because your reaction is spot on. It’s a beautiful and timeless song and ironically the theme of the song is actually pretty negative. I saw Tears for Fears twice in the 80s. Once in Boston and once here in my home city Los Angeles. In Boston I saw them in a small theatre and in LA at a mid-sized type of venue outdoors. Great shows, very 80s new wave type of vibes back then, but, very upbeat fun. I love this song and the album it’s off of. Their first album “The Hurting” was very early new wave kind of sound and I loved it. Outstanding tracks are “Mad World”, “Pale Shelter” and “Change”. The next album “Songs From The Big Chair” was a HUGE global smash and went to #1 on the US Billboard album chart. This song you reacted to “Everybody Wants to Rule The World” was the first single released and it shot to #1 in June 1985 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The next single released was the epic “Shout” and it also was a huge smash topping the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in August 1985 and it has a great music video which would be a great one for you to react to. The third single released which is a personal favorite of mine is “Head Over Heels” which made it to #3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in November 1985. It has a really good music video as well. They have a song which called “Sowing the Seeds of Love” which made it to #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in November 1989 which has a spectacular music video as well.

Released March 18, 1985. End of my senior year of high school. I was 17. Just a month before I turned 18. I remember the first time I heard it. It was a Tuesday morning, the day after the song was released. I woke up with the love of my life in my arms. I remember thinking as I listened to the lyrics that first time, watching her sleeping, feeling her slow breathing against my chest, that so long as she was by my side I could rule world. Whenever I hear this song it takes me back to not only that moment, but those occasional Friday and Saturday nights when I wasn't working, just her and I and a few of our friends cruising down that stretch of Blackstone avenue, eating half-cold chili dogs, singing over the roar of the engine of the 57 T-bird she had spent six months and hundreds of dollars restoring after she turned 16 and got her license. Sometimes it was just the two of us, making the plans for our wedding that June, and for the rest of our lives. We were so young, you naive. We thought what we had would last forever, we had no idea that it would all end a few months later, on a different road, in a different car, in a different place. There are times when I would give up everything I've had in the years since that morning just to have one more night like those...just one more. Whether or not I still believe I could rule the world, doesn't matter because a world where her light was removed, is not a world worth ruling, and certainly not one I want any part of ruling anyway.

Their most underrated (and best, IMO) song is Sewing The Seeds of Love...it is extremely Beatles-esque and is a beautiful piece.

Those of us who lived the 80's recognized the first few chords of this song whenever it is played. he best song ever written! It is perfection! I have seen them in Concert 3x! Once in Detroit at a huge concert hall. My God, I stood and sang the entire time. Next I saw in Atlanta at a small outdoor arena, they were friendly talking with us and joking. I met he guy who opened for them. MICHAEL WAINWRIGHT, we still follow each other on Twitter. Roland wrote a song for him and they had fun singing it for us. I was just a few from them. Next I saw them in concert at the Exfinity Arena with Hall and Oates. I see you have been listening to their songs. Both were incredible! Daryl Hall has a Web Series called 'Live from Daryl's House'. He has some great people on and they just jam!

Curt Smith (lead singer) wanted a Triumph TR3a to show the groups English roots, but couldn't find one. (It was same as the car he then owned in England and 40 odd years later he still has one)
