I just loved this so much. This young man saw this and KNEW that it was something his Mom should see :) He's reaching out and his Mom should be proud when she sees him mouthing the lyrics. He has a kind heart and looks for approval from his Momma. That is not a bad thing, but an exceptional thing. :)

I love everything about this! Of course Teddy’s voice is ridiculous, but even more than his voice I am SO impressed by this awesome young man and his amazing mom! You can tell that he is incredibly genuine, respectful and has a great heart. The fact that he isn’t “too cool” to be seen with his mom in a video says a lot. Mom you did an awesome job raising this young man. You should be super proud!

Although this reaction is 3 years old, it just popped up in my feed. I am a big fan of Bonnie Raitt’s version because the song is very personal to me and how I felt earlier in my marriage. I had my husband listen to the original so he would know how I felt. With that understanding, we worked hard our marriage. In 2 weeks we will have our 31st anniversary!❤️ This is my first time hearing this version and I thought he did an amazing job . I will definitely have to look more into this guy. I'm just going to say a little thing that has bothered me for years, hearing Teddy, or Chris Stapleton, Struggles Jennings and hundreds more of white singers, and people in general ,and people are surprised, that white singers have soul! We all have soul, ( well, there are some who haven't found it) we just sing it in a different way! Even Rockers haven't soul, you just have to hear them sing without judgement. I love all singers ( well, once more those who can really sing) soul. I sing my Christian songs, and yes, I feel my soul sing to God.
