She is the best female singer of our generation. First of all this was practiced not even once they kind of ran through it before the show. She begged him to sing with him and said she just wanted to do the backup parts. So that's what she's doing in this song she's letting Teddy shine because this is Teddy's album that he's promoting she's an incredible duet singer because she always knows how to match and harmonize instantly and to let are there artists shine when she could blow them out of the water. Mixtape medley, from a game show that Jimmy Fallon hosted where she and Ariana Grande sing snippets of songs by other divas. Showing both of thier ranges. Sadly I don't know many of Kelly's songs herself but I love when she has other artists 9n her show and she signs with the artist like she did with Teddy. P!nk and Alanis Morissette are two of my favorites. She also recently performed I will always love you on an awards show. She chose to do a version somewhere in between Dolly's original rendition and Whitney's and it was masterfully done. I believe she is an incredible singer and is rather humble about her gift. She loves to sing and seems always so honored to be able to sing with any of her contemporaries. She is so giving when singing with others.

Do you want more Kelly like this? You should definitely try some of her “Kellyoke”. That is a (short) music section that she does on her TV show. - Tennessee Whiskey (Chris S) - Dream On (Aerosmith) - Rolling in the Deep (Adele) - Dancing Queen (ABBA) - I'd rather go blind (Eta) - 7 Rings (Ariana) - Call out my Name And the list goes long! You can pick some of them and react in one video because those are short versions. Some of those covers are literally different (melodically) from the original. Kelly Clarkson and Chris Stapleton actually do a duet called Glow that is fabulous! It’s a Christmas song, but it still made it in to my daily playlist! She also does a very emotional performance called Piece By Piece live on American Idol 2016. Just beautiful. Makes Keith Urban cry. She’s a fabulous singer! Very bluesy voice with a range that has no limits.

She consistently nails it - whether it’s an original or a cover, studio or live. As others have suggested, her singing “The Dance” for Garth Brooks at the Kennedy Center Honors is a must. Also, her version of “It’s Quiet Uptown” is absolutely beautiful. The name of the album is appropriate because Teddy says his performance name SWIMS stands for Somebody Who Isn't Me Sometime. Kelly is doing her job perfectly and isn't trying to upstage Teddy and giving him an amazing backup and harmonic support in this performance. Give a watch and listen to Kelly singing "She Used to Be Mine". Her newer sound since she lost all of the weight seems to be much more open and confident, but she's always great.
