The Doors were like a shooting star, they burned hot and fast. But their music is just as fresh today as it was 50-60 years ago.

This is such a great song! The Doors were among the most controversial & influential rock acts of the 1960s, mostly due to Jim Morrison's lyrics & voice. "Riders On The Storm" is my favorite song by them but they had a lot of hits including "Roadhouse Blues", "Light My Fire", "Break On Through (To The Other Side)", "Love Me Two Times", "L.A. Woman", "Hello, I Love You", "Touch Me", "The Unknown Soldier", "Love Her Madly", "The End" etc. Sadly Jim Morrison died in 1971 at the age of only 27 but left a great legacy of music

Excellent choice I saw The Doors in 1967 and this song is perfect reflection of those early days! Very Psychedelic in it's way and I love the melody so Emma Thanks for this one it gave me a "flashback" to that concert!!

The whole Morrison Hotel album was awesome, Peace frog being my favorite. Jim Morrison had a strange fascination with death, it shows in all his music and all his poetry. This whole album is amazing too, you really can't go wrong with the doors.

Jim Morrison of the Doors was very talented, but I wonder how much better he would have been if he wasn't high on drugs most of the time? With that said I really enjoyed his music talent.
