Lox were signed to Puff in a slave deal and he owned all their publishing for future albums even after they left Bad Boy. It got to the point where Lox became so frustrated, they went on the radio and Styles said he was gonna drop a refrigerator on Puff's head. Puff finally renegotiated after that and they've been cool since. They went back and ghostwrote a lot of his Money Making Mitch album.

This album is probably their greatest album in their catalog. All their other albums are fire as well. Personally, this is a very special album for me. I was 18 and working at my first job in brooklyn. My co worker introduced me to underground rap music. Canibus was my first artist he introduced me to and then this album was my first album my co worker introduced me to a little later.

Yeah there was a whole Let The Lox Go campaign when they were trying to leave Bad Boy. They were always down with Ruff Ryder but early on they didn't have room to sign with them and Puff offered them a deal. This is their first album officially signed to Ruff Ryder.

He was probably worried about Puff tryna sue in some form or fashion, so they blanked his name out but we knew what the line was. Also, when he said the Supa Head line that was referring to Karrine Steffans. The public didn't know who she was back then.
