RIP Biggie Smalls and 2Pac. Yes, they were very good rappers, smart and quick. This is what we used to call the east coast Mafioso hip hop! lol NYC and the east coast has a long history of the Italian mobs , especially decades ago. So thats where the "mafioso" comes from, crime families, etc. Anyhow, not only the Italian mobs, but other organized crime groups, street gangs back in the days was prevalent. The shared mentality. Making money in the not so honest ways, growing out the hard situation to honest living (such as being a rapper storytelling, to teach the youth to change) to better yourself, etc. So you would hear a lot of these themes in the songs, lyrics from the hardcore rap groups from NYC and the east coast, Ruff areas where they grew up. It wasn't always just criminal encouragement, but to learn to make better decisions in life, the ills of the streets, etc They all had that thick east coast, NYC accent too. . Funny, because they had such smooth cool beats, we'd dance to this at the clubs, blast in our car stereos (great bass music) , and the lyrics were wild! lol The Wu Tang Clan, Big L, Mobb Deep, DMX, Nas, Big Pun, AZ, Junior Mafia, Black Moon, etc Next Biggie Smalls video to check out. "Warning", "Juicy", "Hypnotize". Oh ya, forgot to mention. Back then there was lots of tension with the east coast vs west coast rappers. Weird times. The south rappers and midwest rappers were pretty much neutral.

So the REAL Lore to this beef isn’t this track, Tupac was just mad that none of the NY cats that be in the streets, and mad that the so called King of NY Biggie didn’t ride for Tupac or tell him who shot and robbed him or go after the Niggas who did it, but the thing is EVERYONE from Biggie to Mike Tyson told Tupac to be careful and to not even hang out with Haitian Jack or that other dude that be with him, and it was actually that other dude who set up tupac to get robbed and shot cause he felt tupac was disrespecting him and Haitian Jack, so they really did it to put him in his place, Puffy and someone else who was there knew about it but Biggie genuinely didn’t, Tupac also knew this wasn’t a diss and biggie had nothing to do with him getting robbed and allegedly shot (it’s believed Tupac actually shot himself trying to pull his gun out his waist, this comes from the actual dudes who robbed him in quad studios)

It was the perfect storm of chaos. They were all in the same place in New York at a well known studio. This song was made before Pac got shot

Sir, Pac was never going to the studio to meet Biggie. That's a hundred percent lie. Pac and his Jamaican cousin Stretch were invited by Haitian Jack to voice a record for his upcoming artist. Remember that the building contains over 20 different studios all on different floors. But the media made it seem like everyone was using the same studio, which is wrong. This record was not a Pac diss. It was made months before Pac was shot. Biggie and Pac were still friends when he was shot. After Pac got shot, he went up to the sixth floor and hid his own gun in a piano and later told Biggie to go retrieve and hold for him, which he did. Pac beef was with Haitian Jack and not Big. It was when Pac went to jail after the shooting that dudes in jail began to corrupt his mind against Big, and he became paranoid while allowing Haitian Jack to essentially escape responsibility...🤔

Biggie and Diddy was sitting up in the studio while Pac was downstairs getting robbed after they had called him several times to come to the studio. Then Pac best friend Stretch switched sides and was in on it too so thats why he was killed exactly one year after the robbery and Pac ain't even go to the funeral. 😢
