He's so much more than a typical Country artist. Blues, Folk, R&B/Soul, Rock, it's all strongly in there, too (Country sometimes is what you hear least). So that along with his incredible voice and songs, it just brings a wide spectrum of people together, all being touched by his music. Just a uniquely awesome artist and an American treasure.

Suggestions,,,,, I Was Wrong,,,,, Sometimes I Cry,,,,, Tennessee Whiskey,,,,, Millionaire,,,,, Traveler,,,,,, always do the 'live' performances when possible. For guitar work, check out 'Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Vince Gill Shredding Guitars'. Chris has a whole room to hold his guitars, I watched a concert where he changed guitars for every single song. Just to highlight how good he is, he was in the audience at a show was called up on stage to do a song and did "It's A Mans World" unrehearsed, strange band, borrowed guitar and he killed it. The best reaction was from the band when he sang the opening words.

Chris Stapleton is a song writer, singer, performer, artist, all the above. He did write this song. Chris has also wrote songs for many famous artists in all different genres. Literally every song of Chris Stapleton is amazing. And he is also one of the rare artists who sound better live. Chris Stapleton’s wife is also a singer, and performs with him on many of his songs.

I love watching people discover Chris' awesomeness for the first time! It's almost as good as discovering it again myself. Lol. I've seen him in concert and the man sounds better live in absolutely everything, with the exception of his song, "Fire Away," which has an amazing fully produced video with a mental health focus. (His vocals are just as good live, but the video really adds something for this one. He donates the proceeds of that song to a mental health organization.) Can't wait to watch you on this journey! Btw, Chris has been in two previous bands ... The Jompson Brothers, which is rock and The Steeldrivers, which is fully bluegrass. He has collaborations with P!nk, Ed Sheeran/Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift (I don't love that one since he's really just background), H.E.R., Jennifer Hudson and on and on. He also did a cover of, "Nothing Else Matters," for Metallica's album, "Blacklist." That one has kind of an outlaw country sound with a 3 minute guitar solo at the end. Southern rock ala Lynyrd Skynyrd, blues, gospel ... just ... all the things. Chris absolutely his own genre! A couple of fun, upbeat ones are, "Devil Always Made Me Think Twice," and "Arkansas." Honestly, just pick one of his songs and go. 😉

Chris is one of those genre spanning artists it's very hard not to like regardless. He has a lot of colabs with artists from other genre as well. He was on the Metallica Blacklist Album, "Nothing Else Matters". You might enjoy his take on it. I particularly enjoyed his performance of "Whipping Post" at the Gregg Allman Tribute. It's a must hear in my opinion.

New sub here cuz of chris Stapleton ❤ SO glad you reacted to this cuz now you get to experience a living legend! He was in a couple bands before while he said he has written over 200 songs for other great artists, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Sheryl Crow, Adele... to name a couple. He said he was going to take a break and raise his kids, then with some help of his wife he put out his first album "Traveler" in 2015 won a bunch of CMA Awards, including - Best New Artist.. performed that night with Justin Timberlake AND Chris's wife "TENNESSEE WHISKEY & DRINK YOU AWAY" now we get to experience someone so special in CHRIS STAPLETON!!! He is Not considered "Country" He does it all.. Blues, Rock, southern rock, bluegrass, country, etc..My request would be a rocking out song of his "ARKANSAS" LIVE AT CMT AWARDS 2021 (remember to pause twice or put a filter on screen so CMT won't block it)

Really there is nothing traditional about Chris. He was heavily influenced by blues, soul and sang in church when he was young. He started in a bluegrass band, The SteelDrivers. Some real magic with that group. Can you Run, if it hadn’t ‘t been for love and many more! Then was in an outlaw country band before going solo. Check it all out, not a bad record by him 💙🎸👍🏼

I see you have on a Metallica T-shirt. Chris did "Nothing Else Matters" from the Metallica Blacklist album. Watch him doing 'I Was Wrong" (his) & Tennessee Whiskey (cover) Live at Austin City Limits. Check out "Barely Alive" & "Sometimes I Cry" (his) Live at The Bing Lounge. See him at 26 on Sandy Beaches Cruise 12 singing "Fool Me Again." (his). You'll hear blues, soul, gospel, R & B, rock & straight up country from Chris - but always that killer voice.

Yes!! Thank you, Ben! I knew you would appreciate this artist. Like I said I'm not a country fan even though Tennessee, my home state has the country music holy grail in it but to me, this isn't country. This was my first request ever. I see and feel the same "thing" in you that I feel towards music and have since I was 4 and it goes beyond loving music and it's rare. I think that's what I felt an immediate connection to you plus you're a good guy. I got so pumped watching you watch this. He takes you to a place around the middle where you think it could be the peak. I was talking to the screen saying, "buckle up Ben, you ain't seen nothing yet." Now, I'm going to check my KZbin settings because this has been out for 2 days and I'm just seeing it. Thanks again my friend!
