From a knowledgeable fan: That was video on an empty lot on a hillside in Monterrey, Mexico. The Warning recorded & played the song live 4 times to get all the shots they needed. They chose the first audio take. That lighting was the sun setting. Pau is actually doing all the background vocals you hear, no track playing. Thanks guys, love the reaction. The Warning are touring Europe at the moment. I was lucky enough to see them last night (April 21) in Birmingham UK. I think all dates in Europe were/are sold out. ❤ this band so much I am seeing them again April 25 in Manchester UK.😊

this video was shot in a lot on a hill outside their home town... they took 4 takes and they played the song completely through each time... the audio is from the first take... the other takes were done for the additional camera shots because they had only one camera to work with... today there is a house on this lot... imagine taking a walk in the valley behind and below them and hearing this reverberating through the hills from somewhere above you... i mean 🤯 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

There was no looping. You can see Pau singing her part. Also, she has always used a headset mic, except for this performance. The Warning has toured the US, Canada, South America, and Europe. They are currently on a European tour with three dates scheduled in Japan and upcoming festival dates in the US, and one huge headlining concert at the Auditorio Nacional (capacity 10,000) in Mexico City in February.

You've probably heard this already, but Pau won rock drummer of the year from drumeeo, a respected drumming education site as well as best up and coming from Modern Drummer Magazine in 2023. They've been impressive since the beginning.

@@philk9227 I saw Led Zeppelin live in 1969. Compared to the quality of their studio work, they sucked. Furthermore, if you watch any of their live shows posted on KZbin and judge them based on their studio work, the same applies. In contrast, as great as The Warning's studio work is, it's "sedate" compared to their live shows. These girls are REAL PROS and I proudly proclaim them to be the best rock band of all time.

They have toured all over Europe, South American, North America, and more. They performed at 1 (2023) MTV event and blew the crowd away! The drummer was singing in the background. Dany was 16, Pau 14, and Ale 11 or 12 at the time of this video. And then a few years later they opened for the Foos. They've toured South America, the US and are currently in Europe (again) and will be in Japan in a month or two with Band Maid, so definitely international.

I believe Paulina was singing the counter melody during that last part. Apparently, the music was recorded in one take. They played it a couple more times for video shots. Yes, TW is currently in the midst of their own sold out headlining tour in Europe. They are also hitting a number of big festivals there, including Wacken, open air. In June they head to Japan to join Band-Maid for a special concert in Tokyo. Tickets have just gone on sale for their largest headlining show to date, (Feb 2025) at The National Auditorium in Mexico City, capacity 10,000.

Hey Ace! I thought your friend was Colin Hanks, at first glance. LOL. Nope, no loops. Ale and Dany singing the chorus at the end with Pau singing the slower "Keep you in the dark...". Too much talent to ignore, even at this young age. They still play in the same space in their basement (The Warning Cave). If you want to see a great concert they did their "Quarantine Show" live streamed during lockdown in 2020, in the spring before they got signed that summer by Lava Records. It is AWESOME. It's on their channel.

I am an a guy who grew up with 70s music and by the 90s I was raising my kids and really didn't get into Foo Fighters and Nirvana and those bands, but I was aware of them. This cover is actually the first time I heard this song (not today, but I heard this years ago) and I like it better than the original, probably because I heard it first. The Warning are amazing along with Dirty Honey, Rival Sons and The Answer are my favorite hard rock bands out now. I also got heavily into blues rock (really just rock as it was in the 70s) like The Ally Venable Band, Larkin Poe, When Rivers Meet, The Laura Cox Band and Madison Galloway. Also, classic rockers (kind of defy genres, but definitely rock) the Northern Irish band Dea Matrona. There is a lot of great young bands out now, even for someone like me in my 60s.

A lot of those I haven't heard of, but Dirty Honey is really good. I just saw they have a 2nd album and did an Aerosmith cover (they did have some Aerosmith influence in a couple of their songs from what I remember). Also The Struts are really good if you like Queen. And Greta Van Fleet to an extent is good, but I think they lean way to heavily into the Led Zeppelin sound

@@AceofBadeReacts The Struts are a band I missed too, I am aware but not familiar with them. I do like early Queen and I saw them live in the late 70s. I will have to check out the Struts as Led Zeppelin were my favorite back in the day and saw them live twice in 1977. I love Dirty Honey and as time permits you might want to check out the other bands. Dea Matrona might be confusing because while they do their own music now, their covers ranged from Black Sabbath, Cream, Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith but then they do singer songwriters like Carly Simon, Simon and Garfunkel and blues like Peter Green, Rory Gallagher and Bonnie Raitt. That is why I said they are hard to find into a genre. Also, the two front women switch off between bass and guitar, share vocals and harmonize like angels, especially on their acoustic songs.

@@AceofBadeReacts Sorry for the confusion. The three songs I mentioned are in three separate videos on KZbin. "Martirio" is sung in Spanish and there are one or two unofficial videos of this song that include English translations, however, they are not available on The Warning's official channel and I cannot speak for their accuracy. Many non-Spanish speaking viewers have enjoyed "Martirio" without the translation. It's that good!

One of their latest singles, S!CK is currently #14 on Billboards Mainstream Rock Chart. They have charted some other singles in the recent past as well. UMG executives attended a show or two on their current, 100% sold-out, European tour which portends well for them receiving a push on international mainstream media. There are some radio stations in a few markets in the US that have some of their songs in rotation. So yeah, the breakout for them is beginning.

But if you show them a spin on something old and familiar they can be more receptive. After that, The Warning's talent, charisma, and performance can do the rest.
