Just to answer your question, The Dooo gets off the wall people coming at him. This guy that acted like they were talking about music they had played is just some of the stuff he deals with. My suggestion.....just go with it and it will either start making sense, or it won't. In either case trying to understand it is a futile response.

The Dooo has been playing guitar for over 15 years, though much of the past 8 have been on youtube. His channel started by doing recordings of himself playing for the people in voice chat of Black Ops 2, and he would regularly take requests. I think that the experience of doing that is a big chunk of why he can play a huge number of popular songs at will. He and his friends are hilarious, they regularly release video game content and have a weekly podcast.

I recommend any guitarist to have a loop pedal just as a tool for your playing.. It helped my lead playing tremendously. Helps you with keys, timing, phrasing, etc...also a good way to figure out harmonies and how a melody will sound over the rhythm. 🤘🤘

If you do play guitar and you feel like the octave changes are difficult, you probably need to learn some basic guitar shapes for like, Major, Minor, and the pentatonics for each of those as well. You can also learn some basic music theory and it will take your guitar skills to the next level. Once you do understand those things, you will understand how TheDooo does some of the things he does. I'm not knocking his skill at all. He is an insane guitarist and musician, but it took me years to figure out that learning shapes and music theory were how to push my skills to the next level and just thought I would share.
