I want to say a big TY to you man, very few reactors even looked at this song, let alone reacted to it, but you did and you made my day. Tommie is a very talented singer who can do many a style with ease... and that includes this rather difficult to sing song that means ever so much to Kenny. That to me, is the strength of this amazing show, the singers truly show love and respect for each other and you can always hear in it the songs they sing. A few others already mentioned it, but Tania Kross and Tommie did a ridiculously good duet together, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe - Barcelona. Few can do Freddie justice...but Tommie can. Thnx for the react to this gem of a song :D

That was great. I love the beste zangers. The dutch rly know how to make TV and i personally never met a dutch that was not nice. There are two former dutch football players, i don't rly like (i guess every german and dutch who watched football 88 - 90 knows whom i am talking about) but besides that I only have good things to say about anything or anyone dutch. Additionaly the dutch are in my eyes far more progressive than here in germany. We could learn a great deal about tolerance and respect from the dutch.

Great reaction once again! I love that you take the time to watch the stories behind the performance and don’t mind if it is not in English.😘 I’m a big fan of beste zangers and I like every single season. My favorites are 2016 and 2019 tho. I have to admit that I’m a fan of both Og3ne and Floor, but almost every performance in those years were great and often emotional. I still get goosebumps every time I watch Some of these songs. On daily motion are complete episodes of beste zangers with subtitles. Hope to see more and maybe even a complete episode😬

Tommy did sing this song in a dialect called moroons (marons) which is a inland dialect not even all Surinamers speak and understand. Thay's how far the respect goes. In The Netherlands it's hot news if artist have a quarrel, because that's almost unheard off.

Suriname has 20 different languages, he sang in Marron Which is the real domestic language of Suriname. Which is verry difficult cause the most Suriname people speak Dutch or Sranantongo. ( if there are Suriname people in the comments, please correct me of I’m wrong )
