I got this album in the early 90s as a teenager and played the heck out of it. I always loved this song. Great for working out.

Excellent as always, amigo! Early 90’s TOOL was a lot grittier and heavy than later versions. As you flesh out their discography on this journey, you will see their growth as musicians and in their spiritual journeys. We all start off angry and wanting to lash out (Opiate/Undertow), then we start to peel away layers of why we feel that way (Ænima), We must learn how to integrate your new knowledge into your old self (Lateralus), eventually we come to accept what happened and that we are still growing and learning (10,000 Days), and finally we being to fully integrate true universal knowledge and allow it it shine through us (Pneuma). There is no perfection or final form, constant acceptance, learning, integration, rebirth, and repeat. As soon as you attach your Ego to life that you have it all figured out, you are right back to where you started. Much love and Spiral Out🌀, my friend. P.S. other people have explained the album progression in better ways, but that is what I got for now, lol.

You should give their song "Jerk Off" a try. It's on their first album, Opiate. It is my favorite to scream along with.

Tool, is most definitely One of the Greatest Bands of all time! How many Bands have you ever heard of that will go a Decade between Album releases....working on it till its 100% Perfect, sonically, musically, lyrically, timing wise, mixing etc....NONE! Thats what sets them apart from all others. The Longer the Wine Ages the better it is, coincidentally Maynard is a Highly Regarded Wine Maker, orchards and all!
