2018 Eurovision song contest winner. Netta (for Israel) took that year's competition by storm.

She's an absolutely amazing artist with a a great vocal range. If you watch no others find her CEO music video with the Gehenna choir. It's well words can't quite describe how Netta's truly powerful voice & the talents of an amazing choir mix. With only the occasional single drum to provide accompaniment. It's absolutely breathtaking. More so than any others to be honest & to think people said she couldn't really sing without her looper.

STEFA in Hebrew is loosely translated to: A stack of money or maybe "Wad of cash" someone can wipe out. So she is not impressed if you treat her like a BUBA (ANI LO BUBA) means im not a doll..like she's saying you don't own me or something like that. She's sassy, I seen her live in a bar in israel on a show before the contest she won She's a nice person not stuck up..They paid her peanuts LOL and a few drinks.

I am not sure what you are looking to react to but if you haven't I reccomend the A Cappella group Voiceplay. They are really creative and do an amazing job every time. For something fun and lighthearted I would start with their Little Mermaid Medley or their Moana Medly. Their bass, Geoff Castellucci, has his own channel and his covers of Blackbird, 16 Tons, and The Monster Mash are incredible. Still you can't go wrong with Voiceplay or Geoff Castellucci.

I get what you say about Netta not being afraid to be silly and unique, but don't forget: it's Eurovision so.... yeah. xD

In my point of view, I've heard similar but better, but I can see how people can like it. For more quirky female pop artists, I'm wondering if you have ever listened to Kate Bush, Meg Myers, Mitski, Amanda Palmer (solo or Dresden Dolls), Kimbra, or Dessa, to name a few.

I like Amanda. I actually saw her videos come up a lot at one time and I avoided them. Suicide survivor. Too close. I am mental too. I was probably more worried that she'd be hopeful rather than thinking she'd be depressing. If that makes any sense. It doesn't make any damn sense. Suicide survivor. That's not an easy thing to share with the world. Got to respect her for being up front about that. You worry about sharing things which make you seem mental. Makes you feel separate and alienated from 'normal' people. I can be incredibly cynical. Amanda seems nice. Suicide survivor. She overcame it.

You're not alone & you will never be alone. There's always others out ready to listen. There's a quote I've always remembered. Sometimes those who fly alone have the strongest wings. I'm a bit of a loner myself. But I have one cat on my shoulders & the other semi affixed to my leg until I hand over the canned food. Plus the new senior kitty that used to belong to a good friend.

@@Nirrrina Very true Nirrina. I was in quite a bad place when I wrote that. Doing a bit better now but that feeling of being alone in what you're going through is something which adds to the misery. It's important to remember that you aren't the only one who has felt like this and that you aren't alone. I do forget this sometimes.

Something very funny and dare I say strange I found out about myself if I burp with an open mouth I have discovered it can come out sounding like a growling koala, or depending what I drink let's say for instance Cola, I maybe loud enough to out burp Barney Gumbo. On the other hand if I burp with a closed mouth I can sound like that of a giant toad. Weird eh?

Floods by Pantera, think its about wiping mankind out with a biblical flood for their nasty deeds, but could also be interpreted as washing away a toxic person from your life and seeing the sun peek through the clouds at the end, hopeful.

Okay now I have to comment. I found the channel by accident today and was almost offended at forst as I saw "suicide survivor" in the title for reactions. The possibility was high this could be a clickbait for just another reactor to fish for clicks, since there are the typical nightwish reactions and all. But I noticed that I knew most of the songs and they are all heavier stuff so I checked some out. And some more. And ended up not just binge watching through like2/3 of your vids but also felt very understood. I struggle with high functional depression since I was six but am in a good place now, but mental health is underrepresented and ifnit is covered, then the most severe cases, as if there can only one of two extremes: healthy and happy or suicidal. But there is so much in between and depression is not just being sad, we laugh, is int even uncommon to be laughing and depressed at the same time, but ppl tend to say that if you can laugh it cant be that much of a problem, then you are not really in pain. Anyway I feld good watching your stuff and now your even covering Netta xD i love that song as I loved most of the songs you decided to react to. So I wanted to ask If you would check out Tash Sultana, as they is a fantastic looping artist struggeling with mental health and who made it through by creating music to reach a meditative state. There is even something like a TED Talk where they explained that and also performed a song. I dont know if you only allow patreons to recommend but I wanted to try. Also sorry, german here so english is my second language. All the best ❤️ kzbin.info/www/bejne/pICrh6qVptCnpa8
