always said the same. They always rode on Rush's coat tails when they were in my opinion as good for sure, well they were always an Under rated trio but not in my mind,,the very best. Amazing vocals with Rick and Gil and Rick is just a animal on the guitar. Seen them in 1980 in Maple Leaf Gardens New Years Eve. I was on first row floors. When Mike Levine hit the first cord on his base I thought my body was literally gonna explode.

Yes another great Canadian Band.🇨🇦 This song is from their 5th studio album produced in 1981.It reached Number 23 on the Billboard Chart. It's a story told about a 9 year old lying in her bed with her transistor radio hoping her requested song will be played. Just a great rockin tune, with great instrumentation and great vocals. After "Lay it on the Line" and "Hold On" this song really launched Triumph's popularity in the US. Great reaction. Buckets of Maple Syrup love from Canada ❤️❤️ 🇨🇦 🇨🇦

Thanks so much for doing this song. It’s very special to me, and I can’t make it through it without at least one tear. This was my friend’s favorite song, and she died unexpectedly at a very young age. At her funeral, they played this song, and I’ll never forget locking arms with our circle of friends. We sang and cried at the same time. As much as I love it, I can’t listen to it very much, because of the emotional memories of my dear friend, but I did it today because I wanted to see how it would touch you both. “She climbs in the bed and pulls the covers over her head, and she turns a little radio on. She’s had a rotten day, so she hopes the DJ’s gonna play her favorite song…” 😢😢

My concert story seeing Triumph. For reasons unknown to me the audience stood on there chairs. I couldn't because I had a cast on my entire leg, which now meant I only saw the butts in front of me. A Security person saw me and led me to the stairs in the venue so I could sit there and see the concert. I never forgot the kindness showed to me that night. I spent a year in that cast, what a long year it was.

I know I'll get piled-on here if Rush fans see this, but I was a fan of both & seen both in their heyday, but Triumph blew, & blow Rush away! Rush was good till Signals, then rest a bunch of prog-rock, unjammable start/stop noise! That said, to each their own, & if into prog-rock, Rush are the MASTERS!!! RIP NEIL PEART!🙏❤

THIS is my 2nd favorite song of ALL time. This is a direct standpoint of the artist to his audience and what it means to be a musician (the feeling an artist gives his listener). Incredible song and it represents every single artist who's ever written a song for his/her genre and their audience. Favorite song of all time is John Lennon's "Imagine". ..... People get the message so wrong. When he wrote the line "Imagine there's no heaven" the religous fanatics crusified him when all he meant was "what if we had a world where religion didn't decide our worth as a people"? That's just an example. Political/Religous people don't comment, you won't get a response. He was who he was and he wrote for a better world for us and our children.

Brilliant track off a brilliant album that I re-visit often. Allied Forces is so good from start to finish and these guys are just simply a GREAT band. Fantastic music with great messages and story. Enjoy the Triumph journey! Live versions from the US Festival are FANTASTIC. Canada just knows how to produce killer rock trios :) Rik Emmett is still putting out good music and still sounds amazing. Drummer, Gil Moore also sings lead on a number of great Triumph tracks and they make for some great harmonies all over.

This song takes me back to my 13 year old self. Underrated band imo. Such incredible instrumental, vocal and lyrical music from Triumph. Something about those 3-man Canadian bands. Rick Emmett plays for small gatherings usually acoustic, he's still a musical genius 💜✨

One of my all-time favorite bands. Saw them live several times. Rik Emmett is a master of guitar. A band that was categorized a heavy metal during their day, that incorporated positive messages into their lyrics, when most others did not. Fight the Good Fight is another great one from Triumph.

What a beautiful speech about the power of music, Amber and how it touched you personally! If you ever make a channel trailer, it should be included. Thank you for who you are and what you do. You two are amazing, a real virtue for humanity! Yes, some of us will know who Wiz Khalifa is. He was on the radio this morning, in between Christmas songs, with “See You Again” feat. Charlie Puth.

Ric Emmett wrote this song about himself, but knew that there weren't any girls going to their concerts. Much like Rush. So he made the song about a girl. After the song broke on radio, the band suddenly had a huge influx of girls showing up to their concerts. The Magic Power of Music indeed.
