I love Twenty One Pilots! Thanks for reacting to Migraine. I like what you said about being alone and coming together. Also glad you caught that he pulled the power on the mic at the end. Additionally, I think they might be representing how Tyler and Josh individual coping mechanisms. Josh runs to relieve stress, Tyler turns inwards to writing lyrics, but in the end the biggest mechanism is playing music together, as you said. The internal rhyme schemes are so go. Glad you paused to take them in. Happy to watch more TOP reactions. Chlorine has been mentioned by another, I'll second that.

They don't make any bad music! Tyler is the lead singer and Josh is the drummer - they write and produce all their own music - great live performers I'd recommend Car Radio Lane Boy Ode to Sleep

i always took the video as like tyler experiencing time more slowly and feeling like he's being left behind because of the wars he's waging in his head -- but even though he's experiencing it like that in the end he will get where he needs to be -- he can take his time and it will be ok -- he made it this far kid

Migrane is the best "first introduction" to the band. Then Ode to Sleep, then Car Radio ... that's how I think someone would get hooked 100%

I don’t usually comment but I think you were spot on with your idea of the video. I think Josh was fidgety in the beginning and wearing polka dots because he’s more anxious and that’s why he’s running and Tyler is more depressed so he’s slower and the polka dot shirt is underneath to show it’s secondary to his depression. So Josh represents anxiety and Tyler, depression. Never thought of it till you explained it. Good job 👍🏻

Bravo! Great catches on your first TOP reaction. As mentioned, everything this band does is intentional, from the music to the lyrics to the visuals. Love that you picked up on them separating then finding their way to perform with each other. And the lyricism on this track is so good and so deep. You'll find there are many different interpretations to their art, and that, too, is by design. Tyler writes his lyrics intentionally broad so that we can find our own meanings. Their layers have layers. Hope you do more TOP, they don't disappoint. I would suggest Holding On to You, Ode to Sleep, Lane Boy, and Car Radio for starters. Subbed for more! |-/ 🤍🤍

Car Radio and Ode to Sleep would be some good places to start your journey down the rabbit hole

Don't know if this is correct but I always see this video as a representation of what they have said they deal with. Josh's frantic running is personifying anxiety. And Tyler's slow methodical movement represents depression and being alone. However your right they come together at the end and the mic pull is to show that yes we've made it this far but it's not over yet, it's a constant process..you have to keep trying. Love the reaction

Twenty One Pilots make music and music videos that everyone can sort of interpret in their own sorta way and connect to it. If you listen to their albums in chronological order you really get an idea of just how incredible these guys r. Other songs from this album “Vessel” that r really good r Car Radio, Holding Onto You, Guns For Hands, Trees, Ode To Sleep, honestly the whole album is amazing! Then the album “Blurryface” listen to Fairly Local, Lane Boy, Polarize, Ride, Goner, HeavyDirtySoul, Stressed out. The album “Trench” has songs like My Blood, The Hype, Chlorine, Morph, Neon Geavestones…. Literally everything thing band has done is pure gold!!!! Incredibly talented musicians and amazing music

Twenty one pilots brought me to your channel, subbed for more!! Staying with the same album, Vessel, suggest you check out Guns for Hands, another deep one that describes how Tyler found out how fans were hurting themselves and it kept him awake at night.

Please do more TOP, you will not be disappointed. The fans will swarm also, because we love when people dive into their catalogue of music. I recommend doing Lane Boy, Car Radio and Ode to Sleep. If you stick to songs from Vessel & Blurryface before moving on to Trench, the story will be more clear. They created an entire world for their music. Much of their stuff is about suicide, anxiety and insecurities. When you see black paint on Tyler, know that it's when the bishops have taken him over, the black represents fear, anxiety and depression. Josh is the drummer and he is fantastic!! Everything you see and hear from this band means something. Colors are significant and Tyler is a masterful lyricist.

Shadows will scream that I'm alone. In psychology lot of tims they refer to your depression, or let's say sin, as your shadow. The members of twenty One pilots are Christians so he's referring to the voice of Satan telling him that there is no God. That he's alone in this fight with his mental health.
