i saw U2 in the Sphere a couple of months ago. It was the most entertaining thing I have ever experienced with clothes on. I do recall thinking it was the whitest crowd I have ever seen though. Odd for a band that has hits about civil rights in the South but yeah, a different vibe.

​@@Fairygrl_TWThe only sad part was that they built the Sphere after Pink Floyd stopped touring. The place was made for them with the 160,000 square foot screen in 16k. Nothing short of revolutionary. 2023 was a good year for spending serious concert money. Saw Harry Mack, Adele, Bill Burr, Blackpink and U2 w/ Lady Gaga. I got a feeling that AC/DC tour is gonna get announced soon. But Rage Against the Machine officially broke up. It is weird being in lots of pain but still able to walk around. Trying to remain grateful for that.

Was never a really a big fan of U2 but this song I've always really liked because of the deep lyrics and Bono's voice elevates it in so many ways playing into the spiritual-like feeling it gives off. It's really about the agony of being in love with someone who puts you through hell and vice versa-you clearly haven't felt that kind of despair. The kind of despair in which you are on the line of suicide, balled up on the floor truly praying to vanish from the face of the earth while also praying the two of you will come together again. Both of you are doing i t to one another though. Walking away, coming back, walking away, coming back. It's awful. It's sick. An addiction.
