Oh, I have been waiting for this one. And, you did not disappoint. I loved your expressions while watching this. I am SO glad that you noticed, and made comment, on that super low note in the middle of the song. It was just a quick little thing that Geoff did, and it goes unnoticed most of the time, but it's just as impressive as that end note if you're listening to it. So, good ear, and thank you for paying such close attention to the song. The lead singer in the song is Geoff Castellucci. You are right that he is the bass for Voiceplay. He covers, I believe, either a 4 or a 5 octave range with his voice, and is able to slip between them with complete ease. The man is amazing, and, from all I've seen of him, SUCH a nice guy, too. He has an instructional series out where he helps people find their natural range, helps them to sing at a lower register, and, I'm sure, many other things I haven't seen yet. Suggestions for what to watch next from Voiceplay? Just about anything they've done is pretty great, but MY favorites are Tennessee Whiskey, I Will Survive, and any of their Disney medleys. Geoff doesn't really feature in many of those, but he's always great. I have never been to a concert, to answer your question from the start of the video. I have never had the opportunity to attend one. Be that either from lack of funds when a concert I wanted to see came around, lack of transportation to get to where said concert was located, or not having the time due to work to attend a concert, I just have never been able to . Great reaction, and I can't wait to see which song you choose next.

There was a huge storm that night and it was raining during the show... the thunder and lightning started during The Devil Went Down To Georgia and it was just the most epic thing I think I've ever seen or heard. I second many of the suggestions done below, but if you want to get a good feel for some of the other guys' voices, most of the medley's highlight everyone, but their Tennesse Whiskey highlights two of them really well, and Boy Bands In 5 Minutes is great to get a good feel for all of them in different ways, plus it's a ton of fun, if you haven't watched either of them. What a fun reaction, and to answer your question, my absolute favorite concert I've had the chance to go to is a little tough, I've been to some good ones, but probably seeing AFI at Red Rocks was a highlight for sure.

Welcome to the Experience known as Geoff Castellucci and VoicePlay. 😁 Geoff has been a bass but he did take some jobs at certain theme parks EARLY on where he had to sing in the upper ranges and that just added this his MASSIVE range!

Late 70's. In an ice arena in Marquette Michigan. It started with local bands, then regional bands. After about 5 bands then Cheap Trick played to open up for Foreigner who opened up for the Red River band. The concert was about 6 hrs long. Cheap Trick stole the show, but Foreigner was awesome too.

There are subharmonics from him throughout the entire song. They are in the background and are never mentioned, but there are several times he hits that ending note or close to it throughout.

There is a clip of a live performance of this you need to look up. Also "can't help falling in love" is a good one, and to me, "Tennessee Whiskey" cover by this group is really good.

Haha, I love watching these reaction videos to this song. :) Every reaction is the same: in the middle they fall from their chairs, because "wow, those low notes". And I keep grinning, because I know what's coming at the end. So funny!

The lead singer is Geoff Casstelucci and yes he is the bassist of the group. His range is insane!! I would high recommend checking out his cover of “blackbird” by the Beatles he recently put out!! It will blow your mind!!

My favorite concert was Disturbed. As far as other Voiceplay videos, people have said Moana and Little Mermaid medley, but also their cover of Phantom of the Opera is awesome

The lead singer with heights and depths is one singer - Geoff Castellucci. ... There is a technique for learning at great depths that can be learned. And the microphone has a powerful effect.

Geoff is a 5 octave singer, and he is very comfortable in ANY octave. The note at the end was an E1 if you haven't been told. Awesome video/Post.
