When a venue tells u can’t play cause of blood that’s metal as hell. There is other genres besides nightwish

@@stevekelso8386 That's cheese. It's over-the-top campy "art." And it's this cheese that makes it hard to convince people to give metal a listen, because when you tell people that Nightwish is Metal, the first thing that comes to mind is weirdos in spiky black leather with facepaint screaming in raspy voices with blood dripping from their mouths. It's that cheesy stereotype that prevents people who would love metal from actually trying it.

Gary Ballard Well said! Black Metal is a fringe element within the genre of Metal but unfortunately for those who don’t know Metal this is the vision they see in their mind. Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation and others are slowly changing peoples minds.I hope.
