Absolutely love you a fantastic reaction it's amazing listening to these ladies and the level of musicianship they have will bring a grown man to tears

I remember the first time watching and hearing the MV for this track. As impressed as I was with Midori, Miyako Miho and Haruna, it was Asami's final vocal that floored me. I played it over a few times just to take it in. They are something special indeed, and along with all of the other Japanese bands that I discovered purely by chance. These ladies leave me breathless again and again. 😊

LOVEBITES - Winds Of Transylvania lyrics: Sneaking to that vein, ever devotion Taking in my hands, satisfaction Deep into the neck, only delusion Can't resist, insane tonight Shining like a vine, never enough Dripping off my hand, cause of desire Piece of tragedy, fading in moonlight Sink in red, I'm falling down Painting truth and lies, over and under Chasing round 'n' round, closer to thunder Pushing to the edge, never surrender Shades of cross inside of my head Flaming memories of the past Burn inside of the bloody red eyes Lying Borderline of a Castle Winds of Transylvania Innocent lullaby, chasing everywhere, Fleeting empty fate Break it down, like a game and I go fallin' now Make it all end A silent break of dawn, now the curtain rise Blood, Thirsty like a lost butterfly Reaching in now to get you, but then let you go again Veil searching us under the moonlight Let me in to a place by immortal fascination Now, show me the way of the parade tonight Sneaking to that vein, ever devotion Taking in my hands, satisfaction Deep into the neck, only delusion Can't resist, insane tonight Flaming memories of the past Burn inside of the bloody red eyes Lying Borderline of a Castle Winds of Transylvania Innocent lullaby, chasing everywhere, Fleeting empty fate Break it down, like a game and I go fallin' now Make it all end A silent break of dawn, now the curtain rise Blood, Thirsty like a lost butterfly Reaching in now to get you, but then let you go again Veil searching us under the moonlight Let me in to a place by immortal fascination Now, show me the way of the parade tonight I wait and see Take me away to paradise LOVEBITES ! ----- lyrics: asami music: asami & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) & Mao

I like that Asami is aware enough to realize when she doesn't _fully_ hit those soaring extended belts and is skilled enough to salvage them.

Yep. The milisecond that made me worry but she ended that long belts gracefully.

Fuck yeah! I'm glad you reacted to the live version, they destroyed it, but Haruna and especially Midori went nuclear on this song she made it her bitch lol. The mv is awesome too but i prefer the live performance of this, Winds of Transylvania is in my top 3 song from them.

no one ever seems to mention it, but the backing guitar skills of both miyako and midori is something you cannot overlook. its not just their lead skills...

Just awesome analysis and review. Yes, Miho is doing great work as all ways. I miss her a lot. Since the twin guitars don't play heavy bass chugging in this performance, you can hear Miho very clear. You can tell how good she is.

The thing that is most impressive is a fact that they are playing for only 6-7 years. And if they are so good right now (and they are), imagine how amazing they will be in 10 years. That is just unreal, terrifying... How to compare Lovebites to any other band? Impossible.

They don't have just good songs. All their songs are awesome! Your reactions are so fun! I like that you make out the song for so many details. This is so interesting! And like I said all their songs are different. And this is another example. Thank you for your reaction. More Lovebites on the channel!

It's a common observation that they are better live even than they are in the studio. This is one that looked like it would be impossible to pull off live. Ha ha. They just nailed it.

This song showcases how very dynamic both guitars can be. Midori can pinch, squeal and warble the whammy with the Very Best of them and Miyako has no limits on her ability too seamless ly blow your mind with sick Riffs and ultra dynamic scales. The Tag team of Midori and Miyako is so well done they become one big ass guitar sound with No limits. Of note the use of the Whammy Pedal lends too the oddness and Bad Assery of the whole piece. Progressive and Thrashy AF.

Great Reaction MMR. Now that you've watched the Live version, watch the MV version. This was actually commissioned by the Producer of an Anime show called Vlad Love (Imagine Sailor Moon has a Vampire girlfriend and enlists her schoolmates to help keep her in blood without having to bite people). Parts of the VladLove MV are shown on a tv screen during one of the Openings of VladLove, and there are snippets from the Anime in the MV. Lovebites is just a gift that keeps on giving.🤘🐺🤘

"WINDS OF TRANSYLVANIA" uses phrases from Beethoven's "Symphony No. 5 Fate", "Piano Sonata No. 14 Moonlight" and "Piano Sonata No. 8 Pathetique". Originally, the anime's opening song was set to be 89 seconds. They crammed "LOBEBITES" within that time limit.

Haruna WOW!! 🤘🐺🤘 This song was specifically written for the intro of an anime called VLADLOVE!! The executive producers of the show are big LOVEBITES fans and were in the crowd at this show!! This is an awesome thrashy track, Midori's wild squeals, the very chaotic solos that merge in that gorgeous harmonizing section!! Miho and Haruna making it look easy!! And Asami finishing it all with the big note!! Another awesome performance is "Shadowmaker" Live 2020 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3zap3iJhq91pNE 🤘🐺🤘

thank you MMR for this great and adequate rechtion and analysis. always better, if someone knows, what he´s talking about. pausing is not a problem. I love the little nods to LvB here. we all know how good amazing they can play and how great stage performers they are. but I´m equally (if not even more) impressed by the fact, that they have managed to produce a backcatalogue of around 50 songs between their first EP from 2017 to their (until now) latest EP from 2021. and that this backcatalogue contains only epic masterpieces and masterpieces, not one bad or mediocre song. I don´t know no other band, who has achieved that too. they are so fantastic.

I am not sure quite how heavy you like your music but there are a couple of male Japanese vocalists that really show what the human voice is capable of. One is Kyo of Dir En Grey and the other is Keisuke of Deviloof who models himself on Kyo.

poor drums, haruna as always at high speed beating everywhere like there's no tomorrow, and yes she loves that China in the top and the ice bell at the right , and Miyako was at least 3 months pregnant here, never ask a pregnant woman to be fast but she transitioned from piano to guitar at lightning speed 🤣🤣🐺🤘🐺🤘🐺

@ricdale78132 жыл бұрын
@@realdocloco She appears too be anywhere from late 3 months too 5 months. She hides her figure so very well in this video but you can see glimpses at times. We never got too see Asami with child as her pregnancy was all during the hiatus. But again in pictures from late 2021 and early 2022 you can gain glimpses even in baggy and loose fitting clothes.

Great Song and great reaction, these girls are incredible and when they play it seems that they are not committing that everything is easy, Asami has a range in her absurd voice, Miyako Midori and Miho are incredible and Haruna is tireless and always consistent, I love this Band and I look forward to their return.... And it's not long away!🤘🏼🎸🥁🎤🐺💖🇯🇵🇮🇹

They are the power house in modern metal. When they return - fellow metal bands beware; have no doubt they'll reinvent the gold standard once again. If I was forming a metal band, take Haruna 24/7 without question. As good as Akane,Tamu, and Junna are - no one does it like Haruna! Just my opinion. Great react and analysis! Need to do Thunder Vengeance live 2020 if you haven't already. Show opener and an absolute banger...old Metallica / Anthrax vibes. 🐺🦊

I said when this came out that there has never been a metal track like “Transylvania”. I loved the detail, although I think that you disrupted the flow of the track…not from my point of view, but from your own. Never in a thousand million light years will Lovebites add a keyboard player. They already have the best. I do however think that they will feature more keyboards in future. Just a hunch. One of my dearest wishes is for Miyako to incorporate a Hammond B3 into a track. She was raised listening to Deep Purple and Rainbow, and so Jon Lord, especially with his heavy Bach influences will have settled somewhere in that incredibly talented brain.
