Dude, they're not from BakerTuts. BakerTuts, like Sam Kolder copied these effects from even older videos. If you do a simple Google search for 'Watchtower of Turkey', you'll find a video from 2014, 2 years before Sam Kolder did it, and over a year before BakerTuts even put out a video. And that video still makes all other videos look like a disgrace, even after so many years. It's another thing, you can't copy and paste these transitions as presets, they'll just look like shit. That is why most people who try to copy this effect just end up with amateur looking videos, including BakerTuts. When you scrub through the Watchtower of Turkey video, and more recently Sam Kolders videos frame-by-frame, you will see there is a lot more to these transitions than the generic preset shown in the tutorials. And that is what separates Sam Kolder, and Leonardo Dalessandri from the rookies on KZbin trying to copy it with a cheap downloaded preset.

Good stuff... but guys... you shouldn't just decide to stand on a fort wall or stuff like that... those may give you awesome views...but realise these are centuries old heritage structures... give respect to the conservation and don't just jump into them stomping... would you really like someone climbing up Statue of Liberty's nose to get a good view... no because you respect the structure and the value of history it represents... the structures are already not in great shape... you being educated enough .....shouldn't do these.... Calibre is when you explore unconventional angles of capturing moments while you do not do illegal stuff....

Anyone know what it means when they place the red dot on your head as a tourist? Is it a welcoming or deeper meaning...I always wondered that. Dope content as always Sam. Keep it up!!

William Nevius well they'll usually place that red dot on your forehead wherever you go, regardless of whether you're a tourist or not. It's supposed to symbolize the third eye chakra which signifies wisdom, it's pretty much blessing the person. What they placed on his forehead was kumkum powder which you'll find mostly in temples/sacred places, prayer areas, or any big events. Whereas some people might wear bindis which could symbolize many other things such as a person's marital status.

Yep, that's pretty much the vibe with a lot of the videos. Not that that's a bad thing. You've got a few Indians that are extremely upset that the video was, apparently, painting a picture of poverty, dirt, squalor and misery and going on about how India is even more developed than "your country" (US/UK!). They can't win, either way. Still, it's enjoyable to watch and take with a pinch of salt.

+kold why did you show India as a poor, disgusting, loud and unhygienic place? Whereas when it comes to other cities like your nyc, you click pictures at the best spot possible (like times square), Nyc is not same everywhere. I'm sure there are many places in nyc as crazy as india. Why didn't you show better part of the Indian Cities like Delhi. which are much cleaner, green, and beautiful. but all you had to show India as this poor, underdeveloped crazy place. Why? @@factionguy I mean I kind of agree but come on its India. People don't come here for the night life and big cities, people come here for our history and culture which just so happens to be away from the big cities. The uploader actually treated India with respect unlike a lot of the slum tourists who only go to Dharavi or Old Delhi.
