First Time in INDONESIA - FIRST IMPRESSIONS of INDONESIA

Our FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF INDONESIA took us by surprise. For our FIRST TIME IN INDONESIA we flew to JAKARTA. We mostly chilled, but we did get to explore the town for one day and it completely blew us away! JAKARTA was extremely clean and developed. We barely saw any trash on the streets. The JAKARTA NATIONAL MONUMENT was beautiful and a very peaceful area to simply walk around. The city and the malls were extremely modern and full of things to do. We think we went to the coolest mall that we had ever been to yet! We don't know exactly what we expected from JAKARTA but this definitely surpassed our expectations.

Believe me, Indonesia is a truly wonderful place. Most of the people in Indonesia are very kind and helpful, also cheerful. Ones you get to know each other, it's like you were friends with them for years even though you only meet them. The city are very busy with a ridiculously long traffic, definitely the craziest, and the night also very lively. But, I especially love the villages, It's so fresh. All the people also very kind and open, also helpful.

if you’re in east java try to eat local javanese food like rawon beef soup (broth is black and made with a lot of clove but really delicious), pecel or rujak (indonesian variation of salad) If you’re in bali try the suckling pig mixed rice or pork satay... enjoy.

when you go to Indonesia again. You must visit the city of Bandung, in Bandung you can play with nature, such as outbound, taking pictures in the forest. You can buy food at very cheap prices here. and Bandung is one of the cities with a lot of culinary, ranging from surabi, Nasi Timbel, and snacks the most preferred by the Bandung is Seblak. You must try everything in Bandung

Reason why we have rare brands opened in Jakarta is because we like spending money on food a lot. I would want you and your gf to explore Jakarta more, it's a huge city with a lot of interesting parts you could explore not to mention the very nice people and it's actually relatively safe, though I understand that you don't really want to go to big cities :)
