Love the video! I was in S. Korea over 20 years ago, and I too was so impressed with all the stores in the subway...I remember clearly getting off the subway to a whole underground shopping center! It was incredible. Lotte World, the beautiful palaces and temples were unforgettable! Enjoy your stay!

Thanks guys! I know places/ countries change, but it's so incredible that even back then, subway shopping was an amazing sight and experience! S. KOREA was amazing experience for me. I enjoyed the culture, Lotte World, shopping, food, hikes, night life, it was incredible! 💜

@@LuunaStar75 You're right, Seoul underground mall was around 20+ years ago, PC rooms were the thing back then, 1st to 2nd generation Kpop groups began expanding in Asia paving the way to global Kpop popularity (BTS, Black Pink), and Starcraft ruled. Nightlife (clubs) was lit back then and still today.

I miss Korea. Night life, spas, food and friends. So much fun. Some of my best times. It is best to know someone there. I mean look at that hotel room for $60. That's amazing.

Although Gangnam is the most developed place in Korea, it is also the place with the worst traffic jam and the price is more expensive than other places. I recommend that you go up to Namsan Tower and Lotte Tower and enjoy the view of Seoul from a different angle.

Around Gangnam, there are many trade shows starting in September! This is why the prices for hotels are going up! Korea uses 220v where the US uses 110v. Seems like you have friends in Korea so ask them for the hot spots!! But definitely try skin treatments like aqua-fil(skin treatment that spikes the clarity!) maybe about 80-100 USD..it lasts for 3-6 months.. Or maybe acupuncture treatments if you are feeling fatigue.. There are many things to do… Hope you have fun!

By the way....have you spoken in Korean yet over there? Also, I'm not sure if your able to read the Korean, otherwise, getting lost over there is an experience on its own. Hopefully the Koreans over there are still being very kind and respectful to you, while your enjoying your stay. As they say, "The best is yet to come". Especially the nightlife, where the city really shines, other than the historical sites, which is still amazing. And you look great. We were in Korea for a whole month from DMZ to Jeju in June-July 2016…can’t wait to go back. Have you checked out any convenience stores? It’s literally 180 from what we have in stateside; and the cleanliness of the whole city!

Love these VLogs! Just a quick FYI, Chuseok (a major holiday) is in September and in April everything starts to bloom (mostly the cherry blossoms). That is probably one of the reasons for the price hikes (edited). They are pretty nice months also.
