Wow! The cassava looks so delicious! 👍🏼You were so brave to try the wood worm! I saw on tv Andrew Zimmern (who had his own tv travel shows) try it alive when he went to Palawan. 🫨😅 Yeah, the monkeys over there are aggressive. Glad the monkey didn’t steal anything from your backpack. Like you, my family was hoping we could see the entire river, but it was explained to us that because the place is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, tourists are only allowed to see 1.5 km (and only with a tour guide) of the 8.2km length of the subterranean river. Sorry to hear that you didn’t meet Russians on this trip. They have a lot of seaweeds there, and glad you were able to have some. What a beautiful trip you had! Hope you could go to El Nido - it is really an amazing place to visit. Take care and God bless.🥰

7 years in 2017 we spent three days together in Palawan with our family of four, we enjoyed the beach and then we went to the cave, after bonding it was better and faster to take a plane from Palawan back to Manila than the ferry

when you mentioned about rivers that are fast..... you are describing "Pagsanjan Falls" another must visit place for you, before you reach the falls you will ride a boat raft and be in fast river ride.

Never had to eat those Tamilok but I googled them. They are basically clams or oysters but shaped weirdly. It is like some fishes are shapes like snakes e.g. Baracuda and eels.
