Bad luck with the weather, sorry for you ! ☔😟 So, you went to Paris and finally you only visited ... Versailles ! 😄 And eat junk food 😢. So sad ! You must try again and stay at least 5 days, buy your croissants🥐🥐 early morning for breakfast, try a good restaurant and enjoy life ("la douceur de vivre") between 2 visits max a day.

Brussels is smaller so it was nice to see everything all close together and hands down the architecture on the Grand Place goes crazy Paris is all spread apart so getting to places was more costly but i mean if I had the time I would def check both out cuz both have their differences and what not. you can see everything important in 1 day in brussels, the best thing to do if you stay in belgium is to visit the other cities like bruges or ghent. There is a lot more things to do in Paris and a lot of history. Both city are really different (I live in brussels and have been to paris many time), you should check out both!! In my opinion, paris center is better but brussels agglomeration (like where people live, the little streets etc ) is cuter.

Brussels is very small, like they said in the comments If you consider to visit, to me 2 -3 days are enough. Like mentioned in the comments if you have time you should also consider to visit Antwerp, Ghent or Bruges. Since Belgium is a small country, if you want to visit other cities, you don’t have to book an hotel there. The easiest way is to book a hotel in the centre of Brussel and then take the train to see other cities as well. It’s only 30 min to 1hrs30 by train to visit Ghent, Antwerp ou Bruges
