I always go to cooking stores in La Halle and buy made in France items. All souvenirs have to be made in the country I'm visiting and not China. Grocery stores have the best chocolate and the bakeries have marshmallow baby Jesus in a manger for Christmas. My nieces were impressed. We bought Dior glass frames during the sale and had the scrip put in after getting home. Paris is always ahead of trends by two years.

Where can you find all souvenirs made in France? I will be in Paris next month. Thanks
@user-ch9if6px6rАй бұрын
@@jkd246 E. Dehillerin has the best cooking merch. The cookie cutters are even marked made in France. I buy wooden cooking utensils, smaller cutting boards and if checking luggage we have brought home their knifes. They are all marked with the store name/made in france.I've bought tart pans etc. I also go to the grocery and buy chocolate and spices. Herbs de Provence from France. Shakespeare and Company have great signed children's books from local authors if you have kids in the family. Sometimes museum shops have items not made in China.

TBH, I think the greatest thing one can treat oneself to in Paris is a baking class. I took a class and now make croissants, pain au chocolat, kougin Amman and pain aux raisins. My Parisien husband is incredibly happy on the weekends!!

TOTALLY ! ☺️ where did you take the class if you don’t mind me asking ?

Fantastic list! May I add one more? Marin Montagut, rue Madame. Whimsical, French-made, artsy store - perfect for unique gifts (for yourself - and others)! I go here every time I’m in Paris in the spring. Absolutely adore this place.

Arielle, I've said this many times before when leaving a comment on your videos, you are just so adorable! I loved this video, so sweet and what a wonderful collection of authentic fare to explore rather than the usual tourist yuck! I know as I live in San Francisco and we have our fair share of tacky tourist garbage people are sucked into. Thank you for showing this, I will visit some of these when I next visit.

Going to try when I arrive in Paris this December items from the La Maison Élysée adjacent to the Élysée Palace especially the Pierre Lannier watch which has the French Presidential seal on the dial which I saw in their website, the items in their Boutique are truly "Made in France 🇫🇷'. Bonjour from Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭.

I’m in my 60s and have no difficulty understanding your pace. We grew up in the NE USA and it’s the typical pace. We lived in GA for decades and people do speak more slowly in the south. My husband is becoming slightly hard of hearing and finds adding captions helps him with the TV and videos. Thanks for another unique and interesting video

I use my *yutulu* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.

This was fun. Now I would love to come to Paris. And just go in the shops to see what they have. I can’t speak the language. So I would have to learn some of it before I came. I have Google translate on my phone. I guess I could use that. I saw a man at the UPS store who didn’t speak English and that’s what he was using. But he spoke Spanish and there was a girl there who spoke Spanish. So she took over waiting on him..

It’s been a couple of days since the closing ceremony of the Olympics and honestly…..as someone who’s never watched the Olympics before up until this one, I’ve always loved Paris but now I love it even more. Since the opening ceremony I’ve been creating an itinerary for myself and my family for when we finally visit and so far….I have like 30 things listed in terms of food, activities, shopping, sight-seeing.

I once saw on Globe Trekker a French chocolatier told Justine never to bite into a piece of chocolate. The proper way to indulge in a chocolate was to place the entire piece into your mouth, let it come to body temperature, swirl with your tongue and then swallow. BTW thumbs up on this video.

Ah interesting method ! Some chocolate have a harder coating though like the moules I showed 🤔 it might take a while to melt down haha

Your title has a typo unless FORM is the new or French version of FROM - lol Can you bring home the pastry or categorize it as a souvenir? That alone has me misled by your title as people back home expecting souvenirs would probably hate the not so fresh pastry that even you consumed on camera (the same day it was baked) rather than actually packing in your suitcase to take back home (stale) as stated in your title.
@AriellelaparisienneАй бұрын
I can’t believe it took 30k views for someone to correct me hahaha thank you ! 😂 and you can totally take home pastries, I do it every time ! Just get a Tupperware container and go to the bakery before your flight or train ride home !

While you articulate more clearly than most young women your age, you still SPEAK TOO RAPIDLY!! You make it difficult to distinguish what you are saying. Never assume that all viewers enjoy the concerted effort to replay your words at a slower pace in our minds. It's exhausting.
