Hello guys, I am from Philippines and currently living in Romania. I am happy to know that you liked it here too. I think Romania is one of the underrated country in europe. Just like Philippines, Romania has a lot to offer for visitors. Especially to those who like time travelling for the timeless castles and forts for you to visit. Hope to meet you guys either in Romania or Philippines. Happy Holidays Lucy, George and the not so little Koda🥰

Go to a restaurant called Caru' cu Bere just on the side of Romanian National Museum. It's the oldest restaurant in Bucharest and they serve traditional Romanian foods. It can busy in the evening, so get there early if you can. Drive to a beautiful city called Brasov just a couple of hours north of Bucharest and Bran where Dracula's castle is. You'll enjoy the drive as well as the places.

In Romania "apa minerala" or "mineral water" is "sparkling water" :)))
@oana-mariauliu5828Ай бұрын
Not exactly. We are used to calling sparkling water mineral water, but in fact most of the time still water is mineral water as well (it says so on the bottle). Before 1989 still water wasn't sold in stores. You could just drink water from the tap or from wells if you had any, but in stores you could find only sparkling water in glass bottles and it was called mineral water. As opposed to sifon, which was water with bubbles in it without being sure if it had any minerals in it. People would go to certain springs (usually in the mountains) to get (still) water with LOTS of minerals in it as treatment for certain medical conditions, but in small amounts and for short periods of time. Daily life in towns and cities implied getting either sparkling/mineral water or sifon. Still water from a well or a tap in the countryside. Lots of people couldn't even understand why still water would be bottled and sold in stores when, much later, they found this type of product for sale. They didn't even like its taste in the beginning. Lots of older people wouldn't pay money for still water because they thought it was the same as the water from the tap. And they were so used to calling sparkling water mineral water that their children and grandchildren, growing up in households where that was the word for it, kept calling it that. + The word for sparkling water in Romanian, "carbogazoasă" or "carbogazificată" is rather long, which makes it easier for us to say "minerală" instead.
@sof952810 күн бұрын

If you book a flight and do not reserve seats the airline will split you up, it is their policy for not booking & paying for seats. Yes it is sharp practice but it needs a regulator to resolve, passengers alone are mere victims. With BA when check in opens it is sometimes possbile to change the allocated seat, all depends on free space etc.
