Hi friends! Welcome to my first St. Thomas travel vlog! In this one, we give you a tour of our room at Margaritaville, go to Coki Beach, and eat at Prime at Paradise Point. Margaritaville is the newest hotel on the island built in the mid 1980s, my brother had his 1st honeymoon there after we grew up on the island throughout the 1980s (I was in my tweens and teens). Weekend At Bernie's Part II the shots in from the beach and inside the hotel are this hotel. That movie has a spot in my heart; it was made 2 years after we left the islands for good. I have only visited three times since 1990, there are too many bad memories for me there. Paradise comes with prices.

For those thinking about Coki Point Beach. Do extensive research before going. If you’re driving, parking is very tight in the one available lot, and they charge $5. Loud music, clouds of weed smoke, small crowded beach.

Awesome video!! I am planning a trip there and can’t decide on where to stay. Was it hard getting golf carts back and forth to the room or did you guys just walk the steps?

Thank you! I think it depends on the time. The wait for the golf carts could be 10-20 mins, depending on how busy they are. We took the golf carts with our luggage when we checked in and a couple of other times throughout our stay. Most of the time, it was easier/quicker to walk.

how much was the cost of your uber ride from the airport. trying to see if I should rent a car

They didn’t have Uber when we went. It was all taxis. If I remember correctly, it was around $150 for the private taxi from the airport to the Margaritaville hotel. For shared taxis that may include other ppl, it was $34 including luggage if you are a party of one and $24 including luggage if you are a party of two or more.

How many days did ya stay and is the resort restaurants expensive

We were there for 5 nights, 6 days. The Margaritaville Restaurant is normal, average prices (two dollar signs ($$) on Google).

Prime is a 15-20 min drive (5.4 mi) from the Margaritaville hotel.

@Pehn Sheffield wow absolutely amazing everything is close I definitely need to eat there and enjoy that view up there
